    Cheers.

Same choice and I'm going Su'a. Seems to be prefered for the 80 minute edge role and is good for 45 a game. Martin was an injury away from playing reserve grade so might spend some time on the bench.

RCG confirmed broken jaw. No word on severity but generally 4-6 weeks.

You'd have to think Arrow's origin spot remains a bit safer with Napa's syndesmosis injury.

@mulvy this would be my team after bringing him in

    Cook
    Fifita Taupau
    Taumalolo Arrow Harris
    DCE ARey
    Mitchell Isaako
    Tedesco Ponga Mbye

    Smith
    McInnes
    Brown
    Sua

    Martin
    Brimson
    Hetherington
    Olive

What do you think? I don’t have to do it but it seems most serious teams have Taupau

I keep waiting for Taupau's inevitable meltdown, but since I can't afford him, it doesn't seem to be happening.

Was pretty adamant that he wouldn't average 55+ for the season a few months ago, but has seen a definite minute increase the last 7 games compared to season's past.

It’s painful to watch when you can’t afford him

Wowsers, that's a good team. I think Tapau will keep averaging around 60, it's his year. With the serious lack of depth and injuries to Manly's forwards as well as their general shitness I think Marty will have plenty to do. If he gets 60 the next two rounds he only goes up  about 27k and will score 120 points. I've not been following TPJ closely but he's been averaging 51 with increased minutes over the last six rounds. As he would play 17 he gets an extra game and so would score 153 points and go up 43k.

On the surface it would seem like the trade could wait until round 18 and if a trades marginal I would always hold. But only you can decide whether my assumptions around what someone will score are correct. Kapow might bust out 80's and TPJ might punch a ref.

If it helps, most people didn't get him until after the tonne, so he's only averaged 65 since then.

    .. didn't help me either.

Was feeling rather smirk and proud of myself by selecting Ryan James to see out the season rather then the other FRF/2RF that were my options. Because he played round 17 he should have been the highest scoring option for me.

Enter injury to RCG, now my choice has become very amateurish and I can't roll back my team either, damn injuries. (James will likely get an Origin callup now)

I try never to get locked in. I have Gosi>James so with RCG news have to debort. Guess I'll go for Mcinnes. Maybe you get lucky and James smashes out 2 more tons

Won't you have to abort? I thought deborting was where you abort the abort? Anyway I also try to set my trades and team structure to make reversing as easy as possible. Not always possible though.

Yeah I was looking at bringing in James for MCK and downgrading Martin but with the news of Martin playing and James' possible origin call up I'm keeping both for now and will reassess next round.

Now I need to decide whether to play Martin, Katoa or Isaako as my last scoring player. Martin is the obvious pick if he is starting but I won't know for sure until the others have played.

Who would you guys play out of those 3 this week? I'm still thinking Martin is the safest bet.

Those considering trading out Mbye due to loss of KM and GK, have you considered if he goes to a decent team, he may actually get some attacking stats? Trys, LB, TA, TB etc.

He is after all a great player.

I won't be trading him until ive seen at least 3 games from him with his new club

Unfortunately circumstances didn't allow, like you I try not to get locked in but despite all efforts I had to rely on James not getting called up for origin. Sometimes you just have to risk it for the biscuit.

Just a point with this setup.
I'd put Brown into your starting side and Arrow on the bench.
If one of your props are a late scratching, you'd want Arrow to replace them instead of Hetherington.
