Yeah Im a bit miffed by why there is so much interest in Farrah. It can only be that people think he'll be an 80 minute hooker at the Tigers and score 50+ on average. But is that likely at the Tigers? He also doesn't play 17 so if he average 50, you would only need to grab a 45 point player (who plays 17) for the same price to get equivalent value....and that would also give you the flexibility of potentially grabbing someone who plays another position - rather than 4+ hookers in your team.

Im personally not sold on him, but if he gets an 80 minute gig I can see the potential appeal.

I only work 40 weeks a year, sacrifice some of my salary for an extra 8 week leave. Its awesome, and I love always having the ability to take a break from work if I want some time off.

I used to take 2 weeks a year, which was pretty good, because the reduction in pay was small enough that you didn't really notice it.

Taking 8 weeks extra leave does take a noticeable chunk out of your pay packet, but fortunately I am in a situation where I can afford it, and I prefer the leave.

Well if you want a sub $600k player who can average 50, I think your options are

Sam Burgess, Ben Hunt, Josh McGuire, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Elijah Taylor (depending on what happens now he isn't required at hooker)

I already own Sam Burgess, and Josh McGuire interests me a little, but Farah just has so much more upside.

Even if he doesn't play 80, he'll get enough minutes to score well, and the potential for 60+ is very achievable.

Mostly I use it to look after my kids. Youngest isn't at school yet, and I take 1 day off a fortnight to be with him. Also take a lot of time off during school holidays.

Generally take at least a day or 2 off in the lead up to week 1 of NRL season to sort fantasy teams though.

Legend! I love when i get to finish work early just to pick my boy up from school, same with days off and taking him, would love to be afforded the opportunity to take that sort of extra leave but unfortunately my line of work won't allow it.

Miss the little things like above, they grow up so fast (soppy dad moment)

Although on second thought not so sure i could stay home with him too often the cheeky little shit, reckon i'd strangle him  Laugh 3

It has its ups and downs.

Yesterday we had a great day. He was happy, and we had a random encounter with a friend of mine who has a boy the same age. So we both got a couple of bonus hours time with someone to talk to.

But the week before he was a nightmare. I take him to little kickers (soccer for tiny people) but ended up having to leave early with him in tears because he just wasn't happy with anything (it all started because they gave him a 'dirty' ball and he didn't want to use it)

Hookers I have in my team now:
    -Smith
    -McInnes
    -Friend

Hookers I'll almost certainly bring in this week:
    -Farah

Hookers I could potentially bring in next week:
    -Hodgson

Hookers I'm definitely bringing back in after origin:
    -Cook

You can never have to many hookers, right?

I wouldn't be so quick to get Hodgson in never averaged over 50.

I'd go Friend - Farah and get Cook back in and leave it at that

Well 6 is too many, because you can only play 5 a week.

Haha yeah I get all that. Friend will become Cook and Hodgson is only an option to keep an eye on at this stage if he is back playing closer to 80mins and would be a stepping stone for a gun 18th man.

Rolling Laugh That made me smile mate. How old is he? I don't forget those days, for me it went baby - easy, toddler - tough, toddler - 6 easy, now - fucking nightmarish because of answering back, cheekyness etc

Buuuuut My boy is at the age where I can take him down the rugby club with his mates and he will literally play rugby/football for hours and hours and me and the boys can have a few saturday/sunday pints, he will only come to see me when he wants a drink or food haha They crack me up at that age, play full pitch with about 6 of them  Laugh 3

I coach him and the under 8s moving to under 9s and its best thing I have ever done, same boys been together since they were 4. Fantastic little player at the moment, scored 366 tries in 2 seasons of tag but with that inlies the problem that he can't stand not winning, or failing at anything!! Fifa, taking the bins out in a race with his sister, tidying his room cleaner lol He has just started cricket and absolutely loves it and probably the only time i have ever seen him do something where he doesn't think he has to be the best at, his team are all playing 2 years up so they lose most matches but he doesn't care just plays to enjoy it which I hope is the start of him realising failing doesn't matter and just to do things you love and enjoy for that reason not just about winning

I know you've only been playing a couple of years mate-Farah was a proven Gun over a few seasons, up there with Cam and CP13. He was a genuine Captaincy option. He did that when the Tigers were actually wooden spoon candidates in some seasons. He will more than likely play 80 yes.

On computer you just click on the corresponding round you want to see. Not sure about the app
