With Farah going, Cook more than likely to play round 18 rather than being rested.

Team would look like this if I trade in Farah and bring in a CTR
Cook
Fifita, Arrow
Lolo, Harris, Surgess
Cleary, DCE
Aitken, Any CTR
Ponga, Teddy, Walker
Smith, McInnes, Farah, Martin
Kikau, Graham, Tuala, Brimson
2nd row feels too week. Will leave me 7 trades. Should I use the Farah trade to strengthen elsewhere?

Shit @ 351k I didn't realise how cheap he was. I've never really considered him but at that price why not.
Scott is at that price for a reason.
I'm also considering him to replace Fonau but then I need to start him or Isaako in my team. Might go with BJ and hope. The extra cash would be handy though.
A week and a half left to play with these trades is just painful.

With trades running out I would prioritise getting a good ctr. I'm in the same boat because even though getting Farah would be good I need to get a Fonua replacement & I can do BJ Leilua in 1 trade. Also I only have 4 round 17 players so anyone I get has to play in that round & Farah doesn't.

No. McInnes becomes Cook round 18/19.Milchcow wrote:
Anyone trading in Farah in VSDT/Supercoach where you are limited to 2 hookers?
Maybe I could bring him in for CS9.

Only gives me the specific round rank and not overall rank after that round.StuDogg101 wrote:

Tickets arrived today and are basically for any round, any venue (not finals).
Will be off to a Storm game at some stage with a mate.
Oh shit you live in Melb? Suddenly makes sense why you chose that username now.

I feel like I'd done alright in life, if the only time I experienced that was at a footy game.

Yeah Im a bit miffed by why there is so much interest in Farrah. It can only be that people think he'll be an 80 minute hooker at the Tigers and score 50+ on average. But is that likely at the Tigers? He also doesn't play 17 so if he average 50, you would only need to grab a 45 point player (who plays 17) for the same price to get equivalent value....and that would also give you the flexibility of potentially grabbing someone who plays another position - rather than 4+ hookers in your team.
Im personally not sold on him, but if he gets an 80 minute gig I can see the potential appeal.
Was an elite fantasy gun the year I started playing. I think was the best fantasy player in the game that year too. Someone might be able to back me up, but I believe in one game later in the season, Farrah hit the ton with like 5-10 minutes to go but came off with a bad injury, like a broken arm or disloacated shoulder or something? I could be way off.

If Farah plays the same style that he did with the bunnies, he will be a 50-60+ point player with the Tigers. That’s why people want him.

If I bring in Farah this will be my bench but then I think it will be difficult to upgrade Sua to Taupau, will need a lot out of Brimson/Olive in the next 2-3 weeks

In his fantasy prime Farah was just as good as Smith even though Smith had the extra goal kicking points. Farah loves tackling so he'll be right at home with the Tigers.

- Had Cook from the start and captained him from early on
- Hasn't dabbled in Inglis, Dugan or Aubbs
- Avoided inexperienced halves
I avoided all of this. Only inexperienced halves i dabbled with were cash cows brimson lamb cogger. Had ponga and cook from start. Only got brown the 2nd game back from injury

I dont know what all you guys are smoking with thinking about bringing in Farah.
Even if he was to play 80. Which he wont mind you he would still not even be in the top 5 hookers on offer.
If you are still chasing cash at this point of the season you are cooked and should start worrying about next year.

Moreso that he "won't" play 80. That's a massive call for a bloke who has spent the vast majority of his 250 plus games doing just that. Including his only 2 games this year after playing Ressies.
But yeah, I reckon he will be in the top 5 averaging hookers going forward from now all things being equal. He is second at the moment at less than half a point behind Cook
