Really, wow! At this time of the season surely $50k isn't a huge deal? I won't be getting Farah but if I was considering him I would pay the $50k any day in order to get more clarity around his role!

Saying that, since Im focusing on round 17 I still might wait but only for my round 17 numbers. If he didn't miss a game I probably would get him in. If I do wait due to the bye round maybe it might be a blessing in disguise.

Plus teams like mine, Im going to have to make some sacrifices in who my last couple of keepers will be (trying to find reason to keep Griffin for the season haha) so Farah could be gold.

By the way did you guys see that Shannon Frizzle (Tyson's brother) will debut for the All Blacks on Saturday.

The guy is a strong ball runner like his bro - I've enjoyed watching him play over the last few years for Tasman and the Highlanders.

So did all those that got named in the initial squad travel to Denver? I was half expecting one or two to pull out...

Ha! Griffin has been on my chopping block for a while, but he has been pretty good the last few weeks (51, 50, 47) and making plenty of tackles. Like you, I'd pull the trigger on Farah if he was playing rd 17....but for me Harris and (probably) RTS have to come in first.

If Griffin could somehow stay on the field for 80, he is a keeper. I want to hold and see what happens with Fitz out for two weeks.

Good trades. Both good prices, RFM is a little worrying for me because the dogs are going worse than ever, could have some quiet games in him. But going on previous rounds he'll score well for his current price. I'm spending a bit more to get Gall, should be more consistent but doesn't play 17, and is old.

Croker is the opposite really, team looks to be on the rise, which = more goals and tries for Croker. I'll be getting a similar grade of centre in over the next couple of weeks myself, so will watch with interest.

Who's dumping Martin if he isn't named next week? I have TPJ out ATM, but will be willing to shoot Martin instead if he is out again.

I might ditch him for Aitken or Leilua, if I decide either is good enough to have for the run home.
Otherwise I'll wait a week or 2 and get Mitchell/Marsters

If he doesn't play round 16 then I guess its unlikely he plays 17, but surely you hold till then? I'll trade him if he isn't named for 17.

I would have preferred the 4 trades in R18 over R15.. Makes it more difficult to mass trade out R17 players who aren't keepers for the run home

How do you think Mbye's departure will get him into the team? Holland to centre and Martin to take Holland's spot on the bench? If Martin is just taking over the bench utlity role that hardly makes him attractive (although hie BE is low enough you can easily give him a week to see what happens)

Presumably he's talking about cap issues / 30 man squad stuff.

It's going to be real hard to avoid moving him if he doesn't get a spot this round. Might be limited to a bench spot in round 17 if he can't crack the team at full strength.

Wouldn't Woods be more of a factor? And looking like he might be staying if the clubs can't come to an agreement.

Martin has played first grade in weeks when Greg Eastwood and Asipeli Fine have played NSW Cup. I can't see how it can possibly be cap issues that are preventing him from playing now, when he has already played games ahead of top 30 players who play the same position.
