If Hiku doesn't play I'll be 1 CTR short, unless I trade him (or Dugan)

And Dugan playing 2nd game makes him useless for looping. Annoying

Who misses out - Gallen, Surgess, Martin, Farah?

Thinking Surgess given the travel from Denver

Is Mann still worth a look? Looks to have secured the bench spot and should play in the halves next week.

Being able to field a relatively strong 17 without trading is pleasing.

Weak link would be Tuala so will probably need to bring in a CTR

Bunnies play last though. But probably the right choice out of those 4.

Here's my points of interest re tlt:
Mannering named to start at lock although probably a 1 off
Capewell & Sorenson benefit from injuries to Lewis & Graham & start in 2fr
    R. Hoffman named to start with Stimson on the bench. The musical chairs continue
    Kikau starts with CHN injured
    D. Walker back at 58th meaning DCE scoring will pick up as I assume he will be gk
    Fainu starts (cash cow)
Cogger retains starting spot & Sam Stone starts in 2fr for suspended Fitzgibbon
Hopoate fb, Holland ctr (cc), L. Lewis 58th (cc), Martin starts for injured RFM
TPJ starts but with Glenn on bench will the 2fr of TPJ & Su'a still start or last minute change
Hodgson starts (that's why I'm looking at 1 of Leilua, Croker or Cotric for my Fonua replacement)
Mbye & Farah start for Wests
Doueihi & Murray on bench although no surprise there

Might make my trade out to a cow next week.

    Cook
    Fifita, Arrow
    Lolo, Harris, Martin
    DCE, Cleary
    Aitken, Hoppa
    Ponga, Teddy, Walker

    Smith, McInnes, Surgess, Kikau
    Brinson, Tuala, WGraham, Fonua

    Pretty happy with that

With Manly getting rid of Hastings, I assume Fainu will be good to go this weekend.

Fainu and Lewis competing for cashout options.

Should I jump on Hoppa at fullback for my last CTR, or go Mitchell/Marsters?

After bringing in a CTR I will have my final 18 complete, but will need to spend a trade on my emergencies as currently I have no half backup.

Host looks like the one who will benefit from the missing dragons origins players come rnd 17.

Takarangi (417k) also hanging around at backrow/ctr. Not sure if he will stay there till seasons end but parra backline does look pretty set..

Also not sure what happens to the dogs backs once the other morris returns. Likely either remis smith or holland that makes way which is offputting for both if you want season keepers

I'm hesitant to bring in any Bulldog back like Hopoate because the team is in a mess. Can he score well in a poor performing team because all you can rely on is kick returns with the occasional tb with few attacking chances.

Hoppa extra game but who knows how he will go for the Dogs. Mitchell and Marsters safer you would think. I have those 2 but Hoppa tempting also.

Did you get Farah this week mate?

Am thinking of going Olive to Fainu this week and TPJ to a cheapie after next week which will leave me with 7 trades and around 500k to go towards upgrading Sua and Isaako.
Anyone see a different approach I could take?

    My team
    9 trades 1k bank

    Cook
    Fifita TPJ
    Taumalolo Jurbo Harris
    DCE ARey
    Mitchell Isaako
    Tedesco Ponga Mbye

    Smith
    McInnes
    Brown
    Arrow

    Sua
    Hetherington
    Brimson

    Yep, Farah in for Fonua

My other centres are Dugan/Hiku/Tuala - which means if Hiku doesn't play I'll be short this week so will probably trade out Hiku/Dugan - probably for Mitchell or Hopoate

Do we really think Gelling takes Hiku's place? OR is Hiku not being named fall out from the Denver test?

Hiku not playing does impact my trade plan fairly dramatically.

Tempted to run with 16 players this week, just so I can keep my plan on course. Hiku was only ever going to score 35 anyway. Ill make that up easy enough. If he doesn't play 17 I might bring in Cotric. Will need to find cash elsewhere for that trade.

Do we think that with Woods now at the Sharks, Fifita might be limited to 50 minutes like flanno suggested a few weeks back?

I'm sure Hiku will be back shortly, maybe as soon as this week.

I am also tempted to run short this week, keep Hiku for position 20 in the run home and upgrade JFH to a CTR after round 17

I am sorted everywhere except for CTR and backup half at the moment, so just have to work out what works best for the run home (that I can afford)

Tanginoa named on the extended bench for Manly. Considering that Manly's medical staff called a season ending injury the fact that he's back is amazing.
