It completes my WFB for the run home and would leave me with 8 trades, 141k and the following team:

    Smith
    Fifita Arrow
    Taumalolo Taupau Harris
    SJ Reynolds
    Cotric Mitchell
    Tedesco Ponga RTS

    McInnes Farah TPJ Martin

    Gutherson Isaako Katoa Doueihi

    Current rank 52.

    Decent picks I think.

Personally I would go for Tapine . Benji is expected back Rd18. Tigers havent played a 80 minutes hooker all season. We know Farah can play 80 but that doesn't mean Clearly has got the same plans with him.

How about Niukore as a cash out instead of Fainu?

    Hunt DCE
    mitchell masters
    ponga fonua teddy

    smith, mcinnes, de belin, su'a

    martin, isaako, sorensen, John olive

i can go fonua and olive(who turned out to be a bad buy lol) to RTS and fainu and leaves me with almost nothing itb.

Thoughts? Is there any viable r17 playing base (or near) price players? Ranked 800 odd and im worried im gonna lose steam come seasons end

    I would probably go

    Fonua> Lewis/Fainu
    Surgess> Harris

    Play Isaako.

When your trades run out Fainu might give you 30/40 on the bench( when is Api due back?) but Niukore probably gives you a 20 after Ma'u returns.

Just read an article saying Mau is out for the season and BA is keen to give Niukore 80 mins on the edge

I'm really liking Mann too. Looks solid and might do something similar. Could always go Holland instead via Mitchell if you want some more cash. Who knows who scores better.

    13 trades and 148K ITB.

    Smith

    Harris Tolo Crichton
    MBye ARey
    Mitchell Marsters
    Teddy Ponga Fonua

    Cook Arrow Griffin Martin

    JFH Coggar Doueihi Olive

SJ is the target obviously for my halves but I'll need 2 downgrades to get him in at the moment unless I move Griffin which I'm not keen on yet.

Thinking 1 trades Fonua to Farrah to get a bargin keeper but that might be shooting myself in the foot with all the hookers.  Maybe also Douehi or Olive to Holland and play him this week if I get Farah?  Or get Mann and Holland this week and have the money for maybe McInnes and SJ next week, although I'm keen to burn 4 trades next week anyway.  If anyone has any views that would be great.  Thanks.

Bump. Could anyone offer any opinions on my team here? I think I'm going to hold off on Farrah until after next week now. Can't get McInnes or SJ without trading someone like Griffin which I don't want to do yet. Thinking just Fonua to Mann and sit on the cash and trade and burn 4 next week? Really doing my head in. If I do the one trade, I'll have to play Coggar this week, which might be okay against the Dogs. Don't want to waste the coin on a Tapine or Milford just for 17 as I will run out of funds.

Yep I would do those trades but L. Lewis instead of Fainu because L. Lewis plays round 17 & Fainu doesn't.

@ Wolfking. I would sell Fonua to SJ via Mybe. Since you don't want to sell Griffin then I would sell JFH. I think SJ is worth making a sacrifice for. Then you will have a potent backline.

Not sure if abbreviating Luke or Lachlan to L. Lewis narrows it down much Laughing

When I found out Lachlan is related to Wally, I struck him off my watch list so damn fast.

You got a lot of trades... I would use all 6 trades this week and next to bring in 4 cheapies and 2 guns. mann/lewis/holland, maybe the panthers cheapie half or even host who could score ok this week.. Cogger/dewy/fonua/olive into cheapies and the upgrade griffin and maybe chricton/mbye/fifi into round 17 guns. You can always trade back if you dont like how your team looks in round 18 because you will still have 7 trades which is heaps

Thanks mate. I've held JFH for this long, I might as well hold for one more week. SJ through Griffin is the logical choice though when you're taking byes into account. Griffin though has been good and I think might see even more minutes this week with Fitz out. So dirty I'm short in turning Coggar into SJ after downgrading Fonua. But you are right SJ is worth it and worth upgrading my team for, bah so tough. I might do two downgrades this week and aim for SJ and McInnes next week even.

Thanks mate, I think that's the way to go. Although as I said, I might do two downgrades this week and get the 2 guns next week perhaps.

Am tossing up the idea of Niukore but at this stage I have Olive to Fainu locked in.

    Cook
    Fifita TPJ
    Taumalolo Jurbo Harris
    DCE ARey
    Mitchell Isaako
    Tedesco Ponga Mbye

    Smith
    McInnes
    Brown
    Arrow

    Sua
    Brimson
    Hetherington
    Olive

Any other suggestions? 9 trades and no bank but I think all I need is an upgrade for TPJ(Taupau) and Isaako and a decent 18th man and I’m done. Reassurances please guys?

    Graham - Lewis
    Fonua - Aitken

    team for round

    Smith
    Fifita, Arrow
    Taumalolo, Brown, Harris
    ARey, SJ
    Aitken, Isaako
    Tedesco, Ponga, Mbye

    Surgess
    Martin
    McInnes

hopefully I will have enough cover with 3 trades and enough in reserve.....Well that's what I'm telling myself anyway

Not sure where LS gets the info from but in the RD 16 TLT fantasy guide he says Holland is expected to kick in front of Martin.

Firstly I am impressed you took a screenshot, and I will have you know. I come to terms with how shit my team is about 10 minutes into the first game of Round 1 and regret everything from the start of the season.

    His ass?

After Martin's kicking display in the test game, he'd be very unlucky not to be the Dogs first choice kicker.
