What a champ.

I have five for next week, and my trade out options are 2 of those 5. Next week will be terrible, but I am not gutting my team or forcing my trades because of it. I am hoping to make strong gains this week to make up for it.

@wolfking yeah that would be great if he could become a keeper as I could always trade Sua to Niukore(who I’m kicking myself I didn’t bring in last night) and this would give me 500k bank to make the necessary upgrades,Hetherington/Brimson to Taupau,Isaako to Aitken etc. Just hope I won’t be short on cash when this plan plays out lol

Bloody hell, thought I had 7 for next week, but Mbyes Dogs jersey put me off and I counted him. My six are Smith, Harris, Milford, Sua, Hoppa, and Mann. Not a great set.. at least captain choice is obvious.

Will make two trades to make it 8 I think, probably both cash outs though..

I'm thinking about next week too much.  Is Brimson still worth a pickup, for like Doueihi or Olive?  Plays next week, gets 30 in base stats still got a bit of money to make?  11 trades left, too silly?  Would get him instead of say Holland and will just maybe find the money from somewhere else for SJ next week?

It bites that TPJ is out because I probably would have traded in Aitken this week instead of next since TPJ is not in my final 17. So now I'm looking at someone like Cotric... I know the tough run home for the Raiders was mentioned above but if I don't trade in a centre for Fonua I have to play Wright. Already chose to play Mann this week so don't really want any more duds. Planning to get RTS next week. Ideas?

Seriously though you don't have much choice. Croker, Cotric, BJ, Hoppa really the only decent options for next week. Or get Marsters and lose a player for next week.

Wacko seems to think MBye will take goal kicking off Marsters. Hard to believe and a lot of what he has written this week seems questionable.

More likely that it was a contingency on the Farah trade with the Rabbits needing a new backup hooker with some NRL experience. But the fact that he just went one further rung down the pecking order for hookers with Farah, Liddle and possibly even Godinet (Not to mention JReyn if Benji plays half), it would have been an easy decision for him

I am still having a hard time choosing between Fainu and Lewis as a cashout.
Lewis is tempting because he plays 17.
But whoever I choose will probably end up as my 18th man if there is a short term injury or suspension.
Surely in light of that, Fainu is the better choice with a higher prospect of finding a stop-gap 40.,

Thoughts?

I didn't know Martin was out and is Taupau officially ruled out too? I saw the article this morning but didn't know it had been confirmed. That'll teach me for only going back 3 pages here instead of 10
