A few years ago there were about 6 club teams I could have won the league for, but was 4th or 5th in the Tigers comp.

Similar to this when I used to be good at fantasy ended up 14th overall, 4th in Roosters league and would have won 8 different leagues. At the time Storm winner ended up being back in about 300th

658 this week. Up to 280, so made good ground. Nice to watch the Broncos on Sunday afternoon for a change.

No idea where to go with trades aside from moving on some of the bye players

Chance that both Hiku and Holland will end up in reserve grade so need a centre replacement. Really not wanting to burn limited trades at the back but something like Hiku>Aitken and Ponga>Tedesco could work

Some of these are strange hey.

JFH dropped 4K by scoring 47.
James dropped 8K when I thought his BE was 34 or something.

Bye rounds always screws with BEs. Total $$ value on the field is massively less than usual (normally over $130mil play each weekend, this week with the 4 games it was still only $58mil)
    Plus games were pretty highscoring

With Montoya injured, the only real option to replace Holland is Olive and I don't see the coach going back there. Holland was good at the start, then Croker towled him up and he got a bit of a stiff shoulder. Hoping Pay gives him another chance.

    Missed all of today’s action.
Anything of fantasy interest I need to be aware of?
Disappointed with Su’A only scoring 35, did I hear that he played most of the game at centre?

Yeah, Staggs knocked out and he moved to centre with Fifita going to 2RF.

Had planned to turn Su’A into JTurbo either next week or the week after, looks like next week it is.

Why wouldn't top 8 sides rest there players since top 8 seems nearly clear now. Souths players are my worry.

    619 and up to 58th.

Hopefully can finish in the top 50. Will be super happy with that.
Thinking Brimson > Farah this week.

Current 5th to 8th are so close to the top 4. Finishing top 4 is such a huge advantage over finishing 5th to 8th so i would wonder if coaches want to risk dropping a game.

On another subject my faith in humanity has been restored somewhat with the first 4 Thai boys successfully rescued from that cave complex.
Those divers from around the world working together have achieved the impossible so far. Early days yet but there is reasonable hope that all the boys and the coach will get out of that bloody cave alive.
Well done Thailand and all the international experts and helpers.
Just goes to show how the human spirit can overcome adversity if we work together.

    R: Cook Crichton SJ Farah

191k in bank hopefully enough for Ponga when he returns. 4 trades.

Havent decided on 18th man. assuming there are origin players that are rested too.

The way the top 8 has condensed in the last couple weeks may mean coaches are reluctant to rest players too... hopefully

That's a crazy good looking team. With decent depth and decent cover across the board. Who are you planning to trade for Ponga?

My team for the run home.

    C. Smith
    A. Fifita, J. Arrow
    J. Taumalolo, S. Burgess, N. Brown
    A. Reynolds, D. Cherry-Evans
    L. Mitchell, E. Aitken
    J. Tedesco, M. Mbye, K. Holland

    D. Cook, R. Farah, C. McInnes, R. Martin

    K. Ponga, T. Hodkinson, J. Segeyaro, L. Brown

I have like $130k in the bank and want to use it to upgrade Brown to L. Lewis to be a decent long term 18th man. Holland covers Ponga until his return. It will leave me with 4 trades and $24k
