    R: Cook Crichton SJ Farah
    E: Surgess Lewis Holland Mann

191k in bank hopefully enough for Ponga when he returns. 4 trades.

Havent decided on 18th man. assuming there are origin players that are rested too.

The way the top 8 has condensed in the last couple weeks may mean coaches are reluctant to rest players too... hopefully

Brilliant side MTB. I’d like to say mine is very similar but I’ve got a little more hooker crazy so you have the edge on me in the halves and centres, and def can’t compete with Burgess as 18th man!

    Smith Cook Farah Mcinnes
    Fifita Taupau James
Taumalolo Martin Arrow (4/6 Prop 2RF DPP)
    SJ DCE (Brimson)
Aitken Olive (Looping Isaako and Tuala)
    Tedesco Mbye RTS (Katao)

Focus is on Ponga back as, and when and otherwise sweating injuries.

Bench is generally Cook, Farah, McInnes, Arrow/James

^^^ Good team if they are all on the park. If you had a couple trades up your sleeve you'd be laughing..

Really hope Dugan is back this week at centre, which means I can keep Holmes and Dugan fills in for Ponga.

Friend to Farah is locked for me, if Holmes is put on the wing he'll become Gallen to finish my team.

1 trade left and dont know whether to switch Tuala to Ramien, bring Farah in, bring any top WFB in which would be a starter, or grab Cook. Cook means my season remaining centres are Lafai and Tuala and Wfb is Cotric / Teddy / one of three other tidbitz...

Wont be holding the trade, one of the above will be final move and watch it all from the fetal position  affraid

Everyone should have a good team this week.

    Smith
    Fifita Arrow
    Taumalolo JTrbo Martin
    DCE SJ
    Aitken Hiku
    TTrbo Tedesco RTS

    Cook
    Farah
    Gallen
    Surgess

    JFH
    Cleary
    Tuala
    Katoa

Hiku/Tuala - CTR only trade left to make. Was thinking about Mitchell, assuming he pulls up well after origin.Hope I don't regret not getting Croker/Leilua last week

    I have with 5 trades (1 remaining this week) and $230k;

    Cook
    Fifi Arrow
    Jurbo Lolo Martin
    SJ Arey
    Mitchell Aitken
    Dugan RTS Holmes

    Cook
    Eseese
    Farah
    Surgess

    TPJ, Lewis, Holland, Ponga+

With $230k I have plenty of options here, I can go Holmes to Taupau, or Dugan to Teddy/Turbo, but I want to keep one of Holmes/Dugan until Ponga is back.. TPJ might be worth upgrading to Gallen while he is still in reach, but I wouldn't gain much. I need TLT to help me out I think. Or some advice from the NRLFF!

    [quote="Random"]

It would be RTS back out, or maybe Mbye if he drops off, to get Ponga back.

With Su'A losing so much cash last week things will be tight. I may have to wait a week on Ponga and hope he drops some $$$.

Pre round 17 I was tossing up Aitken or RTS, and went RTS just on gut feel. Means that Hoppa is in my final side going forward but after the weekend I'm happy enough with that, although now a little worried about the Warriors and RTS slumping. Thems the breaks.

Just noticed Dave Fifita 53 pts in 51 mins. 25 tackles 101 metres in his second game of NRL as an 18 year old.

The kid has only played 4 games of queensland cup, since stepping up from u18s

43 tackles in two games, 0 misses.

Well done Thailand and all the international experts and helpers.

Pretty amazing. Had a dream last night about a boat capsizing and a plane going down in the water and me rescuing people from both after being on the boat myself. Think I had the whole situation on my mind.

Keeping an eye on news and hoping everyone gets out of that cave OK.

Kind of wish I did take the punt like I was talking about but probably not a reliable option moving forward.

Indeed. The wil and courage of everyone involved is amazing. Hopefully the rest of the little fellas make it out safe too.

I don't think you can be too hard on yourself. In both games he almost certainly played extra minutes due to injuries (Sua last week, Staggs this week).

I am at a bit of a crossroad this week as to what direction to head in. Get in Tedesco (will give me turbo Ponga Teddy when Ponga is fit) and then can bring in someone like Croft if he regains his spot. Or should I go for more of my bench/18th man spot such as Farah, Gallen, means I settle for something a bit lower than teddy
Also read something today about wighton being given a 6 week ban. Was weird that sticky didn’t put cotric into FB, shift Croker onto the wing and put pimple into centres like he normally would once abbey went off. If anyone has a spare minute to chuck some ideas up for my squad that would be great. Have 9 trades left so I am good for trades.

    601/9 for me this round
60.1 avg score is not bad for a bye round (includes Captain Smith, Martin, Luai, Croker)

Brimson>Farah for me this week, leaves the team for the run home looking like:

    Smith
    Fifi Surgess
    Lolo Brown Martin
    DCE SJ
    Teddy RTS Mbye

    Cook McInnes Farah Arrow
    Ponga Lewis Fainu Holland

2 Trades left and no money lol. RTS as an 18th man shouldn't be too bad. Hurts not having Taupau or JTurbo but I'll have to live. 600 odd ranking. Here's hoping for no injuries.

Thai boys being pulled out of a cave. Pretty sure there's a joke in there somewhere.

But I am happy for the kids.

What got me about the boys in the cave is the difference in cultures. When I saw pictures of them in the cave they were all sitting together patiently with no one making a noise as per the asian culture. If it had been a bunch of white boys from America they would of been all panicking, running around, screaming & balling their eyes out.
