Any thoughts on what I should do with this team this week?

Only 4 trades & 25k left and my lack of depth in CTR/WFB is showing
It's not looking good if Tedesco gets rested (and even worse if Mitchell is out for some reason) as Roosters play late

    Should I trade Ponga (gasp....no)
Or take the hit on poor/no players?
Or trade Surgess/DCE even? (altho I think Surgess will go good against the Bulldogs)

    Team:
    Smith
    Fifita Taupau
    Arrow Martin Lolo
    ARey SJ
    Aitken Mitchell
    Teddy RTS SKatoa Shocked

    Cook McInnes Farah Surgess

    S. Burgess isn't a trade, he may score poorly this week with Crichton possibly out and Murray starting. However Burgess is a gun in the full strength squad. IIRC he plays more in the center of the park when Crichton is out and it impacts on his attacking stats. He should comfortably average 50+ points a week.

The only trade I would consider using at this stage is on DCE. I am an owner and he scares me, though he looked good in Origin which could fire him up. That and your other halves aren't known for staying fit.

I completely agree with Kiwi on a Cherry-Evans -> Cotric/Trbo looks like the best trade on paper, but it isn't entirely necessary as you have albiet bad cover. If Latrell ends up out this week, with Ponga being held by many. Then I wouldn't stress about being down one player.

With Teddy being rested this week I suspect you'll need to make at least one trade. I'd consider losing Fifi before DCE or Surgess though, given Woods' presence.

Hasting has sealed a deal with Salford. Hopefully he can go over there and make a name for himself and bring it back to the NRL.

This didn't even occur to me. Without looking too hard at it, I would have the exciting choice between Mann and Holland.

TBH couldn't be stuffed, I'll just play Holland.

He just said he thinks the coach might want to rest him. He says he is fine to play though, so Coach's call. Nothing official yet.

I hope the games don't overlap tonight, I want to loop between JFH and Lewis with Ponga.

If enough players get rested then it will be a struggle to field 17, poolhopping might be the least of people's concerns

I may have to miss out on Farah this week and get Aekins and Dalker to ensure 17 if Teddy and Latrell rested

Teddy better pull his finger out, I've already used my WFB cover player for Ponga. No other player to cover atm and I don't want to wast a trade

Anyone thinking its not worth a trade to cover your last WFB spot (should Teddy be rested)? I might be reading things differently, but if you currently have Ponga Teddy + 1 more gun (say RTS/TTrbo), and as others have said, you are already using your WFB cover to cover Ponga, presumably at best you can just use a trade to bringing in a chash out player. My thinking is that player is likely to score <30 based on average, perhaps even sub 25. So is the trade really worth it if it stuffs up your other trades?

I am fortunate in that I have Gutherson and Holland as cover, but with Taipan out too, my hand might be forced on trading him out this week (if Teddy was playing I was planning on holding him). For mew Im currently tossing up between Farah and Brown for the Taipan replacement. It looks like Farah might be a better scorer (particular when you look at the respective benched of the Tigers and Eels) but Brown means the balance of my side is much better and I could cover 2 injuries to my forwards (as opposed to one....). Tough decision.

Aekins is looking like a popular cashout with this Teddy speculation
