    Any suggestions lads?  I've slipped a bit down the ranks the last couple of weeks which is frustrating so I'm getting an itchy finger to sideways trade;

    Smith
    Fifita Taupau
    Martin Tolo Crichton
    SJ ARey
    Aitken Marsters
    Teddy MBye Mitchell

    Cook Arrow Farah JFH

    Ponga Lewis Mann Holland

    I have 6 trades and 96K.  Thinking about SJ, MBye, Marsters but I should keep the faith.  I either;

    JFH - Surgess/Kikau

    or

    Lewis - Nuffie
    JFH - JTurbo

Second option would mean I have a great 17 but shithouse EMG's.  Any one of the backs would become 18th man when Ponga returns.  Don't know if it's worth keeping Lewis as that decent backup and punt on Surgess or Kikau or go all out and get Turbo.  Was thinking even downgrading SJ to a Nofo/Hayne via MBye to get the funds for JTurbo, but that's probably a bit silly just to keep Lewis around.

    Cheers.

I think with 6 trades up your sleeve, the second trade is the way to go. Turbo is consistent and I'd rather not stress about Kikau and Sammy B.

Having Ponga on your bench is luxury too. Who drops out when he's back?

Either that or I sure up my forwards. I've carried Fitzgibbon and have cash to turn him into Jurbo or Arrow etc. Seems a waste though as Zora has both of those. If Fitz can get back into the tries.... oh man.

    Will likely hold Very Happy

That is certainly the position to do it in mate. Variance of WFBs is much greater than the other potions. It would be great to loop RTS and TTrbo each week for example. On any given week one likely scores 55+ the other 25<.

JFH to Surgess/Kikau makes sense to me. Leaves you with five trades to see out the season which should be enough!
Holding Ponga means you're going to have one of Mbye/Mitchell on the bench when he comes back.

Thanks mate. yeah, it's a safe bet with trades up my sleeve and gives me a good 17 with a good 18th and 19th man.

That's the only thing, worry if Kikau and Sam get 30's for one week.  JTurbo is 50 each week.  I feel it leaves my EMG's too short but with 4 trades afterwards it could be worth it.  If McDonald misses time than at least Mann can be a backup.  Would like to keep Lewis but he is the only one to get rid of to enable the cash.

When Ponga returns it's a bit of a roulette as to who becomes 18th man.  Really can be ay of my backs.  SJ at this rate looking most likely to be dropped as MBye can move up.

Cheers for the response.  As a Bunnies man, would like Sam but the thought of being able to complete my team with JTurbo is almost too tempting.  Hoping a 212K player pops up today.

Fuck, Lewis' BE is 1. Don't know if I should take that into account this week.

How about ditching Mann instead? Does that work?

No, not enough, him or Holland would be ideal, but I'd be like 4K short, so bummed.  That's why I was looking at sideways Johnson to someone cheaper even but that's probably not worth it.  SJ to Rapana also leaves me like 4K short haha.  I could wait a week and see how Hollands price goes next week.  JTurbo shouldn't go up that much you would think and JFH could even go up a bit.  See if I can squeeze enough from Holland next week, if not, go with Lewis anyway.  Damn my team looks good with JTurbo though.

EDIT: I will probably just do it. Saving the trade and keeping Lewis and getting Sam/Kikau probably safer all round option but wiht only 7 weeks left, I think JTurbo could be a must have. Cancels him out in my work league too as everyone else has him and I don't.

Tossing up whether to bring in jturbo this week or hold. 4 trades left and $137k spending money.

    Rank 31.

    Cook
    Arrow Fifita
    Taupau Lolo Martin
    Arey SJ
    Cotric Mitchell
    Teddy RTS Gutherson

    Smith Farah McInnes James

    Lewis Isaako Katoa Doueihi

Probably safer to just hold the trade and wait for the inevitable injury/suspension, right?

Interested to see how raiders line up today with croker gone. What's the likelihood of Abbey back to FB, Cotric to ctr?

Surgess playing lock scores 50 every week.
Kikau playing 80 scores 50 every week.

    I hope hehe

    From NRL.com,

"Elsewhere, the Sharks could welcome back injured trio Luke Lewis, Josh Dugan and Jesse Ramien for Friday night's clash with the Raiders but Shane Flanagan is unlikely to risk Dugan's return."

After holding off for 2 months, I'm dumping this clown. Going to bring in Teddy. Luckily enough Holmes has bagged the Fullback jersey, meaning I'll happily keep him as my 19th man. TPJ is coming back also, who is my 18th man.

After buying Cotric last week because he will be f/b the subsequent injury to Croker could see him back to the wing or ctr which totally defeats the purpose of buying him in the first place haha.

Cotric was never likely to be FB for long, Abbey was only out for concussion.

Before the Croker injury & with Rapana returning last week & Oldfield the other wing I would of thought that Cotric would be f/b for the rest of the year & Abbey would be back to reserve grade.
