NFL VSDT (sports deck) cash comp - who's in?

Seems good. I'd probably prefer a slightly different split for 2nd and the weekly, more like 125/75, but not a big deal.

Re my payment, I'm getting screwed around by PayPal now for whatever reason, they assure me I'll be able to login again tomorrow, so hopefully will be able to send through the money then.

Yeah mate, that is fine with me and probably makes more sense! Will see what others think and finalise accordingly prior to it all kicking off!

I think it would be really cool to have that weekly component. As well as a prize for 2nd. That should keep everyone interested for the season and most importantly make sure everyone enjoys the comp.

I agree with all of this. Once you get to the halfway point, the weekly is the best incentive to keep going if your overall is gone. If we get enough then the % split for 1st, 2nd and weekly of 60-20-20 sounds great. If we get lower, then probably just drop off the 2nd prize and have overall and weekly split of something like 70-30%.

Awesome mate! For what its worth I dont believe there are many/any people playing that both know NFL and know the VSDT platform well. I.e. I think everyone will have a good chance if they are able to dedicate bit of time to it.

Will definitely be a spot free mate cause we are just gonna have as many people how want to play, play. Overall winner so dont need to restrict to a certain number!

Numbers and payments are going great guys, thanks to everyone for being involved, Krump for getting his mate to join up, and all the new signups that have been keen!

So far it looks like we have a minimum of 10 players, possibly more to come.

I'll make a call on the prize structure once our numbers are confirmed.

Mate, I'll be honest, I know F-all about NFL, so I get most of my info from websites. There are so many different ranking sheets out there. FantasyPros can be good. But as for specific player advice on that, mine would be worthless

In terms of how the actual VSDT fantasy platform works, I know that pretty well and will be summarising that and the little quirks of it prior to the start of the comp when I get the time. Crazy at work right now though and it'll take a bit of thought to make sure I articulate that stuff well. I do want everyone to enjoy the game though and to start with at least it would be good if everyone is on the same page regarding how the VSDT platform works. But in essence its basically the same as NRLF.

I've got next to know idea as well mate. I've got a very basic cows/guns plan of proven performers and high draft picks. The cap seems really low though so I can see a lot of us having some dud cows.
