Re: 2019 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
Knights Jacob Saifiti is in hospital with a serious leg injury that could sideline him for more than 3 months after an altercation with Dane Cordner (brother of Boyd) outside a Newcastle hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning. Saifiti was knocked cold by a Cordner punch & suffered a suspected lower leg fracture after falling awkwardly.

I was reading on the Sharks forum & it's possible they go with Flanagan over Townsend to start. They even have quotes from coach Flanagan that either SJ or Kyle Flanagan will be gk which infers that Kyle may still be in the frame. There's also a rumour that they are going after Taupau. What a pack they'll have if this happens & especially a frf rotation of Fifita, Taupau, Woods & Prior.
with so much uncertainty and with so few reserves spots in our squads he won't be worth it. I can't see him unseating Townsend to start the season

Has anyone seen Kayla Cullen's instagram post. She can't resist having a dig at the Warriors.....so happy to see you (meaning SJ) sign for an amazing club that supports you & your dreams.
I see Kayla getting her claws out haha.

You'd think that SJ has spent so much time injured on the sidelines that he could of addressed his dreams in his time off

That and it's hard for the warriors to support his dreams of capturing an NRL Premiership

Warriors talking of filling that halves spot from within the current ranks so I'm guessing Hiku might start there and maybe they'll ease Harris Tevita in?
They mention Paul Turner but surely he's not first grade ready.

That should solve their problems with defence.

There's no way I want either Moses or K-Nik anywhere near the Warriors. Both can't tackle & are inconsistent. If you want a half buy a good one.

While as a Broncos fan, I don't want either near my team. But there isn't much on the market. Honestly I wouldn't have minded chasing Blake Austin back from England.
We don't need that HLF that is going to take on the line (even though he does) we need just a solid piece to help keep our structure and set up for plays. McCullough doesn't do it well enough, and Boyd isn't able to control and steer the team. I like one consistent HLF to control the game and one of Nikorima/Milford for the explosive plays.

Maybe they could go after Johnson in 3 years time.White Lightning wrote:There's no way I want either Moses or K-Nik anywhere near the Warriors. Both can't tackle & are inconsistent. If you want a half buy a good one.
I don't rate Austin as a dominant half at all, massive ball hog.Random wrote:

Macca on my radar to start the year, if Siebold continues to "like an 80 minute hooker". Few low scores to end 2018 means he is priced pretty well.

He is underrated, he did hog the ball more after his break out year but he is decent at organising the team.
