With that GI injury he's deluded if he thinks he can handle all the running at f/b. He'll stay at ctr imo. This narrows the f/b spot down to AJ or Allan. Whoever plays f/b the other will be on the wing. R. Jennings has not been re-signed as well atm.

Makes sense for them to play AJ on wing and Allan at f/b

Anyone tempted by the shitshow that is Moses? Will he do all of the kicking in play? There is a "training the house down" article on nrl.com, apparently he came back to training early, etc etc
I probably wouldnt take the risk due to his ability to score very poorly.

There is a $500 prize this year for "highest team value" which means our wives and girlfriends will all be managing cash cow teams I guess

Haven't the panthers all but confirmed DWZ starting at fullback and easing Edwards back after his injury
DWZ is returning from knee surgery and missing the all stars game, so they'll be easing him back in also

Just on Cleary - didn't he have surgery and is only just back from rehab etc? Just wondering if he'll be a slow burner at the start of the season while he gets some confidence in his ankle built up. I don't know tbh..... I was getting swerved away from DCE and needed pulling back!
Edit, some news from earlier this week is that he is running but not started contact work. Still plenty of time to the start of the season though.

People running with Gillett not worried he will ease back into it? Hes had a long layoff and also shoulder surgery. Broncos have 4 edge forwards to fit into 3 positions (gillett, sua, glenn, fifita) and I assume whoever gets the bench spot will get decent minutes (it seems outrageous that one of them will have to play reserve grade to be honest)

Moses has improved a bit, but sharing the load with Norman didn't really help. I can't see him improve his fantasy scores by much though

A photo of him before they broke for xmas and he looked like he'd holidayed in a POW camp. Plenty of time to put the weight back on, but I'm avoiding starting with him till I see more of him

Saw some pics of him recently and he has bulked back up pretty quickly, but i wonder if that means he will be lacking fitness early in the year? Im going to pass on him.

The Roosters are having a pre season camp in Queenstown atm & Keary has suffered calf injury. It's a possible tear & he's flying back to Sydney for treatment. Comments infer he'll be right for round 1.

Good find, can you see the rules around substitutes/AEs this year. Is it the same loophole?

Behind a stronger forward pack, Does Pearce need to kick for 600+ metres? I guess if the number goes down it would be made up for with attacking stats.

For those considering A. Hopoate. He hasn't turned 18 yet & he will turn 18 mid season, I think May. Apparently there's nrl eligibility rules & he can't play until he's turned 18. That's probably why Hasler said he would use A. Hopoate at some stage later in the season.

Re: 2019 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 2
Just a thought, if Moylan is going to fullback and he is known for handing the kick returns to his wingers does that mean that there might be extra value in a Sharks winger? To add to that with the addition of SJ and his ability to throw a cut out for a winger straight into the corner can we expect extra run meters and more tries for the sharks wingers? Thoughts?

Sione Katoa and Aaron Gray arent much to get excited about
