I really messed this up. Changed it to be 50 points. Didn't read thoroughly enough to see that. My bad. I've changed a few names but made it be 50 points now.

I feel like its worth pointing out we only have a draft at this stage. Once we are all done voting it won't be the final team. This is great for getting an initial team and then we can always debate what we'd change. It just helps massively to be discussing a few changes and not all 21 players at once (i.e. I can tell the forum is keen on cheap halves to get better forwards and we are spending big at CTR). Also with a 21 and a known number of $s its easier to debate Macca vs Smith/Cook when we also have to choose what we'd cut/change to make that happen. But to do that we need a starting team which is what we've got thanks to Milchy and those who voted.

There's still more votes to come in but at this stage personally I feel like the current team is too heavy heavy at CTR (Bird, Lomax, Nikora, Capewell, Holland). Also with Tolman, TPJ and Fifita I'd rather not have Hass (will never play him + think there will be better cashies). Once everyone has voted though we can start fine tuning, discussing balance and lock in a team though so don't stress about a player getting in/missing out now. Also agree with Milchy, our cashies will constantly change so don't worry about it being perfect in this vote.

Big thanks again @Milchy for taking the time to put this all together.

Haas is suspended first 2 rounds. likely many that added him would change that after that announcement today, will be missing from TLT lists, which basically disqualifies him from selection. Agree that center is too well covered.

Early times, but seeing the poll based method is delivering very similar results to this team. Haas isn't getting votes there though.

Yeah the cheapies will constantly change over the next few weeks. Hass is a great example of what time we do stuff matters. I'll be interested to see what the differences in the two teams are in a weighted vs non weighted approach.

And people complained about mattnz gaming his votes.

Alfie claiming he'd much rather have Albert Hopoate in his team than Cameron Murray, Michael Morgan or Joe Stimson

Whats the word on young Hoppa? Young gun? I read something crazy somewhere that they were looking at moving Turbo to 5/8 to play him at FLB. No idea if any truth to it.

Apparently turns 18 on Monday, maybe he will grab a wing spot

Nah not this that mate, just figured they were all autos so just gave more votes to my players with less ownership. Love Hoppa though, desperate for him to get a spot on the wing over an Elliot or a Parker.

Edit: I was clarifying that I didn't want Hopoate over those players, not that I wasn't gaming the system. I definitely was

That is the definition of gaming the system.

Just voted my picks for the team. Exciting. Great format to vote. Well done to those who set it up AND a huge congrats to all the Fanatics stalwarts who have been given the honour of a Celebrity team. Credit to the amazing community you have built up over the years. May it now smash all the other Celeb teams!

Would it be worthwhile to start another thread now with some basic ideas layed out in the opening post regarding how this idea works and what is being aimed for?
