I just can’t see how you can call all those three keepers with teddy, Turbo and Ponga in the game.

Ponga playing in the halves isn't a WFB keeper for me I don't think. Can't be bothered searching the numbers but from memory his scores there were underwhelming.

Is having Macca, Offa, TPJ and Gillett in your team slightly overkill?

I would have to support the Broncos yes?

We don’t know that yet. I wouldn’t bet against it.

Paul Momirovski has impressed in the pre-season and is set to win the left centre spot to start the year.

Also Moses Mbye did PCL in knee at training

I have 3 of those. It would be 4 but I like Tolman's value.

Although, I keep flip flopping on Gillett. Today I'm super keen but tomorrow I might not be. There is an overwhelming amount of value/options at the moment.

The only thing I took out of that goalkicking article was that Elgey will most likely kick for Manly. Someone brought it up that because Manly were a better team than the Titans, Elgey might improve which was shut down but I think they're a better attacking team than the Titans were last year. Could he maybe provide some value priced at 21? By the way this is coming from a massive Manly fan so could be biased I guess.

I'd want to see that he's not an open doorway in defence long before i thought about picking him up, Titans might as well have been defending with 12 players when he was on the field and teams knew that and targeted him constantly.

Even with five missed tackles per game I think he can average 30+ if he kicks goals

But so could Keighran for 95k less. There's a lot of value at half. Keirhangn has upside though because he is unknown and might have good defence. Elgey we know doesn't

Excellent point. I personally don't think Ponga will score as well this year in the absence of kick return meters. I think Watson will be in the top 3 WFBs though.

i think expecting him to rack up over 40 in positive points per game while taking a back seat to DCE is overly optimistic.

He must have REALLY impressed. With the MBye news though, Chompson may go back to Fullback, pushing Fonua to a wing?

Could be. 3 goals, 15 tackles, 2 tbs, 4mts, 1error, 50m and 100kms=27 seems like a relatively reasonable floor though.

Momirovski is another player with a strange price, played 2 games for an average of 34, yet priced at 32. Hardly a discount seems strange. Failhub's believed potential again?

to be honest, looking at his stats from last year, your scenario is closer to his ceiling than his floor, his average in those stats (with rounding) was:

    13 tackles, 2tbs, 3mt, 1er, 30m and 80km

Maybe in other circumstances Elgey might be a goer for a cheap half. But CHT, Keighran, Brown, Salmon, Clifford are also around and possibly better value (the ones of them that get a start that is)
