Yeah, that's the only pos he played then so could get to 35 at fullback min.

That was my first instinct but should score more at fullback then he did on the wing. What did he average on the wing?

I grabbed him and from memory he did well. Made a bit of cash and scored a 50+ at least once

Lol I have to ask where do you pull these averages from?

Last season his PPM was 0.82. That would equate to 57 points per game. Have given him a slight discount for playing a few more minutes each game than he did last season to 55 point average.

Averaged 39.3 as a rookie in far less minutes than he would get as starting 2nd row.

I think Vaughan is the frf to reclaim his former glory this season. He’s had a lot of time to get fit and losing LAM will likely see his minutes increase.

PPM might be the most overrated stat in fantasy, especially when misused to 'show' how many points a player will get with more/less minutes, it's never that simple.

    Tell me a better one.

Minutes x PPM is a much more reliable indicator of expected future points than relying on a change of form for extra points.

Im still not seeing it mate, last year he had some awesome scores ill say that but to say he'll average out at 57 is.. is just too much. That's more than Kapow, Jturbo and Andrew Fifita this year and only 2 points less than Cameron Smith

His starting games last year if you want to go by ppm starting in the second row

against the warriors 45mins for 25 points at .55ppm so  35 in 70mins
against the cowboys 44mins for 24 points at .54ppm so 38 in 70mins
    against manly  80mins for 57 points at .71ppm so 50 in 70mins
against the dragons 58mins for 49 points so 58 points in 70mins (including a try)

so for his 4 starting games in the second row going by match ppms last year he averaged 45 points in 70mins. Also I didn't include errors or penalties in this and im sure he would of had a couple

To go with the drunk posting that most people will do during the season, I promise I'll post while on drugs. For this you have my word.

problem is that players aren't reliable machines that do the same things in the same way no matter the weather, expecting a player to pump out 80 minutes with the exact same intensity and involvement as he does when he plays 40-50 is fanciful.

TPJ coming off the bench could potentially be even more enticing fantasy wise. If he still plays his 50mins not only will he be a wrecking ball of devastation he probably won't stop at the try line and run through a few cars in the parking lot Laughing Laughing

Same with Taupau. Wrecking ball type players with pure power coming on after 20-25 mins against tired defenses is good. I actually think they're are better picks if they come off the bench because they play the same minutes but don't have to be involved in the grind/arm wrestle in the first 15-20 mins.
