Some how I don't see Klemmer bucking this trend unless he spends bulk minutes as a second rower like Ryan James or Sam Burgess

Tolman was when he came back into the starting side but yeah its beyond rare. Klemmer averaged 56.5mins though which would be enough for me to consider him this year if he replicated those numbers

Wow, so Mahoney actually made a tackle a minute? Imagine if he does get 80 mins, could be this seasons Cook

Mahoney has the motor to play 80 mins so I hope he plays 80 mins with a 4 forward bench.

Yes, have Fifita locked in and am thinking I'll partner him with Klemmer because of those slim pickings. Also have TPJ at 2RF as FRF cover. Thinking about going with this so I don't have to stuff around with FRF trades. Suspect a few trades will be needed fixing CCows. Of cause doing this means I can't afford Cook or CS9, but that's fine early doors I reckon.

He is capable of scoring lots of points very quickly, he is capable of paying big minutes and he tries hard once every 6 weeks. Considering the passion in behind that game I'm not surprised he had a blinder. You think he is going to have the same passion round 4 playing the Eels? The only thing you can take out of the early trials are injuries, players dropping down the pecking order(not something you can tell from a all stars game) or players in wildly different roles than you thought (If Wighton was to run out in the centres instead of halves for example)

This happened a few seasons ago. Fifita had a massive all stars game but then started the actual season slowly and dropped a heap of cash. I remember this because i changed my whole team around just to fit him in at full price

Someone a few pages back said the Parra reserve hooker who came on for the last 20 minutes was wearing 9 as well and Mahoney got his points, but he still scored pretty well.

That was my assumption, but the stats milchy posted have Davis points separate.

Its unclear from the rules, does anyone recall from last season if changes are unlimited right through round 1?

They are yeah. You can make unlimited changes, but keep in mind once a player gets locked in you can't change them. But say you have Pearce and he plays on Sunday you can swap him for any other players who haven't played yet.

Anyone else go to the Waratahs-Hurricanes game at Brookie?
Was great to see the atmosphere of a packed house at the ground again, haven't seen it like that in years. Hopefully we'll see attendances increase for Manly this year after that. Best news in a long time for me hearing that Gladys gave us all that funding, really didn't want Manly to have to move elsewhere

Also, Macca as my hooker looks good value thanks to some injuries, Seibold loves a 80 minute hooker, good option? Or go all out with Cook/Smith or a cash cow.

Radley seems good value if he snakes the 13 jersey.

All things being equal he will drop reasonable cash whilst giving us all a decent look at him in the Halves.

His service and attack was what actually stood out for me watching the game, so if that stat is correct then he looks a tremendous Fantasy prospect.

    Quick question:
DCE and Turbo or Tedesco and Cleary?
    Reasons attached would be useful

Teddy and Cleary easily for me. Both have higher ceilings than the other two and both score more consistently as well. (Taken into account Cleary was injury affected last season).

DCE and Turbo are the same team too and both rely on attacking stats (especially Turbo). So if Manly don’t do well you’re screwed. DCE also won’t be gk this season as he did for the majority last season.
