With Katoa starting is everyone already swapping out Egan for the time being to set their teams up pre TLT.

From the storms team list looks as though Scott Drinkwater may be in front to take the Fb position fro the storm this year.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
From Kearney in regards to the first trial:
Nate Roache will play 20-30mins. Coming back from a hamstring injury. "He's definitely a Ferrari" (I think in regards to plays hard and needs time in the shop)
Ken Maumalo had an extended rest and was only ever going to play the second trial. Sounds like a bit of a "training the house down" too.
Intending to give the halves equal opportunity to impress in trial 1.
Asked if he'd consider signing Johnson if the chance presented "I think that boat has sailed. Well and truly."

Both Drinkwater and Hughes will be great options if they lock down the spot full time
Reckon slight bit of giving Drinkwater a go first though as Hughes already played in All stars

Thats an interesting one, his ownership will sink like a stone. Could be an opportunity.

If you were on Haas, I wouldn't swap him for his replacement. Unless you think a bench prop will make a tonne of cash in 2 weeks

Thinking of keeping Haas, having a loop for a couple of weeks to play with.

Loop holes don't work like that do they?

Loopholes work the same as last year.
But Haas is a poor loop option, as Broncos play the first game in round 1, and the 3rd game in round 2, making it awkward to get a good use out of Haas a loop

Looks like Haas has been suspended for not snitching on his family. Not sure what the Broncos expected. Family is life for islander type families.

Blake Green sounds like he'll be fit for round 1. It sounds like it's down to Keighran and CHT for the other halves spot with Keighran leading the way.
It's unlikely Paul Turner will see first grade this season but he's touted to be a future NRL half. A lot of wraps on him.
It's an interesting question - whoever gets the nod in the halves to partner Green, how safe is their spot? If they fail for a few rounds, how much patience will Kearney have? Or will we see someone on the bench as an option for cover, ie; Karl Lawton? Remains to be seen. Maybe Keighran will start and CHT will come on in the last 10mins of the first half as an impact player. Who knows.
There were some good comments about him on some forum. Apparently Keighran is their best gk plus he's actually a very good player.

If both start meaning Drinkwater at f/b & Hughes hlf i might have them both at wfb. Hughes is pretty cheap.

Yeah that's what I meant cant do it at all in the first one and the second round isn't much better

I would also be considering that myself mate! Both I reckon will kill it at FB. Only issue is if only 1 starts and they have a poor run like Croft last year, they get ditched!
