I think whichever one starts will kill it, I think the other may possible end up on the bench. Would suck to see such talent in the reggies

After seeing Drinkwater's isp stats I'm keen to have him in my team. He's no bottom dollar cashcow but should be worth the investment. Hopefully the akward price causes him to be a bit of a POD

Problem with Drinkwater is that he is priced at 40, he is not cheap.
In the past 5 years, Slater never averaged over 44. So in order to provide value, you need Drinkwater to be a better fantasy player than Slater.
Only 3 WFBs averaged more than 44 last year.
Tedesco, Trbojevic and Ponga
Do you think Drinkwater will reach those heights in his first season?
Just seems like quite a big risk to me, even with his great ISP stats

Ok let’s hope so, so we have clarity on who’s ahead. Expect them both in the 21. Reminder of how much I hate the extended bench!

Need green back to identify who is his halves partner, Green not named R1 will be a nightmare deciding which Rookie Warriors half to start with!

Yep and if Keighran doesn’t make the grade then we just burn one trade switching him to CHT. No biggie

Yea ideally we get Green back and rookie named R1 sticks.
I pray to fantasy gods Kearny doesn't act like a cunt and throw Hiku in there and destroy the fantasy community

I don't know about you Welshy, but fantasy aside I'm afraid for our Warriors this year. Even as a die hard I am gonna have to put them near the bottom when the ladder predictor comes up lol

Zero expectation this year mate so just looking forward to just enjoying the rugby and not looking for wins
Actually got some intriguing pieces, young halves trio, RTS with no SJ could potentially be explosive
solid Tohu, Tevaga, and IPap looks the goods
just a big worry over props and the guile to stay in games when it isn't going our way

As a Warriors tragic over the years, I would say that has been one of their biggest issues. Every side gets their fair share of bad calls against them, but when they happen to the Warriors, they fall apart, instead of strengthening their resolve.

Try supporting the Warriors and Wales
Wales turning the corner slowly, but Warriors don't have the mental fortitude to dig in and claw their way back into games when it gets tough

Yeah bang on, confidence will play a huge role. Especially at the start. I hope they can jag an early win to start the season with a hiss and a roar and then who knows, but you're right about keeping the expectations in check!

The Warriors had much stronger resolve last year though. Quite a few games they could have let go but ended up winning. I'm not sure how this year will go without SJ though. They always just gave it to him and expected something from nothing.

They looked like a different team last year. There's no reason they can't go on a run early in the season like the Tigers last year before it all catches up to them and they fall off.StuDogg101 wrote:

Yes exactly.
The really biased calls happened back in the day (there is no denying how bad the officiating against the warriors was back then), but that lingering effect hangs over them today.
I would say the warriors are treated just like any other team these days, but as you say, one bad call and its like they all resort back to that "oh they are against us" mentality and crumble. When it just simply isn't true.
Every gameplan against the warriors and even the test side would be ' just weather the storm and they run out of puff, and or just wait for that bad call and then hit the warriors hard'

I know Mannering was over the hill last year, but they lose his attitude and SJ's talent it's hard to see them doing much.

I think the Cowboys had a similar mentality in the past. Being bundled out of semi finals in controversial circumstances three years in a row might have allowed them to use bad calls as an excuse to give up. One of the best things Paul Green brought to the Cowboys was to just completely eradicate that attitude and not allow anything that happens to be used as an excuse.

If Haas is out and Napa is out, what are people doing about FRF cover?
A) hope another cheapie is named for your emergencies.
B) don't bother with cover
C) Put three decent scorers in your 17.
D) something else.

Gee, RCG didn't really hold back in his interview. Seems like he's happy to see the back of Griffin.
