Anyway GM by the start of the season I reckon Stimson will be in most people's 17 so he's low risk.

If you think Stimson will score 30 most weeks, you definitely don't want him as a non scoring player for that money

I would think trying to fit in Stimson as an 18th man would compromise your starting 17. Just get your best 17 & if you don't think Stimson is worth a spot in your 17 then just pass on him. By having a 416k player in your npr's it's diluting the funds available to spend on your best 17.
I think there will be some usual falling in love with TLT and I don’t want to get caught putting a Tatola or Foutaika in my team. They are what we call round 4 trade outs, I don’t need known or premeditated future trades when I already suffer from mild Slatsism

@ nrlphysio - H. Hunt has suffered a hamstring injury. Even minor hamstring injuries take a couple of weeks recovery.
I only mentioned this because I've seen a couple of teams with H. Hunt in them. So if Moga & H. Hunt are out round 1 who will partner Ramien in the ctrs, maybe Sione M.

On drinkwater, for him to lose any real cash he would need to average under 30 for the first few games. I definitely don’t see him doing that. I think you will be getting what you pay for. I reckon he will have a pretty good basement but also has a chance to score big because he is so busy out back. On the other side if you don’t start with him it’ll take a bit for him to make some cash but what would you rather, not have him and hope he scores shit over the first few round and drops cash (mind you if this happens he probably won’t even stay there and Hughes will come in) or would you rather have him, if he scores poorly jump over to a cow who is killing it or just hope he go busters like he probably can. He is a awkward price but there is definitely some great potential there.

Couple of things to mention also -
Apparently cook has spent some time with sprint guru Roger Fabri, who has also worked with Ado Carr and Roberts. Cook has gotten rid of his ugly technique and is now quicker than last year.
Also really excited to Sandor Earl make his looooong awaited return this Friday

It’s a good point mate but he is one of them severely disproportionate ones. In 1/6th of teams but 6/6 around here or any similar forum. Usually the best kind of picks for us to collectively get a break on the pack I’ve just seen a lot of him and he doesn’t scream points to me

A if you’re talking about WFB3
I wouldn’t forego a Fifita to have a monsterous WFB line, they can be so underwhelming
If WFB2, tough one!

It actually worked ok and protects me if I get it wrong. only 400k but a tough pricepoint to upgrade a rookie to (quickly), and there’s 4 x 212k I’m happy to have
I think there are enough rookies you could easily play to get enough points if needed in an emergency, without needing an extra $400k player.

"The word out of Wollongong is Norman and Hunt will start the season in the halves, with Matt Dufty to be used from the interchange bench.
When Dufty comes on, Hunt can move to dummy-half allowing Widdop to move into the halves with Norman. Young gun Dufty will then get a shot at playing his preferred position.
Another Red V young gun, Zac Lomax, looks likely to start the season on the wing to accommodate the return of Euan Aitken in the centres."
Big loser in this looks to be McInnes

Not sure, reckon they could be using McInnes at Lock as they could be preparing for the loss of DeBelin

nice one Mary, shuffling around 6 different positions mid game has always worked so well in the past

There’s only really two outcomes for DeBellend... They’ll either change the rules and dump him before the start of the season (unlikely but possible) or he’s deemed innocent until proven guilty. In which case, it’s a high profile rape case which could drag out years. Personally I don’t see them putting someone like Dufty in the front line, he was dropped for being lazy in defence at the back. they have Frizzy there to take care of 13 and an 80 gun hooker already.

All true but the coach is Mary
