Obviously old Clint isn't closing the door on Darius just yet, will give him until 1 hour before kickoff to decide if he wants to sign or not

Burr is creeping into more and more teams as part of the playing 17?
What are people expecting of him? 30 points? 40 points? the next Simon Mannering
Is he another John Palavi (Warriors starting lock in round 1 2014, scored 24 points in round 1. And 12 points total for the rest of the season)
I expect more of a Palavi. I hear Luke may be struggling to be fit to play round 1. Could be Tevaga round 1 hooker, then starting lock the rest of the season.
Ligi Sao was last years example where they did the same thing until the full squad was available.

To be fair, I think most people are using him as a placeholder 212k until TLT. Depending on the cashies in the worst possible timeline he may end up being our Obi-wan

Good stuff. I'll be watching the Cows/Titans pretty closely and so will a few others on here I reckon. Happy to report back as objectively as I can, might note minutes of interest.
Carlin musn't be in the 30 but great to see him getting a run regardless.

Correct me if I am wrong but I just don't understand the hype around Moeaki Fotuaika, Wallace and Boyd will start over him meaning Fotuaika will get less game time - less points.
Also regarding nick meany, do you think he will make good cash and get up around the 600k+ mark or should I just stick with Drinkwater and be safe.
Cheers.

There's no way I'm putting Burr in my 21 unless all those other cheap options that are likely to be available disappear.

I'm a MASSIVE Drinkwater fan boy, but if you think Meaney is going to get to 600k then you have to pick him first. Essentially that means they will score around the same for your team and Meaney will earn you the extra 400k that you got to spend somewhere else by NOT picking Drinkwater in the first place.
I have no idea about Meaney's potential personally, but I hope that makes sense.

Titans signed Boyd on big money, I'm sure they will want their money's worth straight away

If Allan does play fb you can’t tell me if he tears it up first two rounds benno will just give him the boot
Also slater was a great player but never really fantasy relevant. Plus with how busy drinkwater his I wouldn’t put it past him to average 45. He will be this years Ponga (fantasy wise) only slight more expensive

Not seeing Burr being terrible in his stats. 2016 average PPM of 0.88 in 3 games off the bench. Just a matter of getting minutes, but you would expect a starting lock to get at 40-55 minutes, as long as he holds his spot.

Thats a good sign then, part of the problem with cte or the mainly the pre cursor concussion is the drinking and what not afterwards. you know, the culture.

Meaney is just another, Abbey. One thing that draws me to him is he will have plenty of kick return metres! Could find an extra 8 points there. Priced at 30 points I’m not sure he will be able to excel much past that, maybe 5 points underpriced? Happy to be proven wrong, plus plenty of other options 140k cheaper who imo have the same potential as him.

Hopa will be the Bulldogs fullback.... I don’t know how people think he won’t be.

S. Boyd hasn't got a big motor I think he only averaged 34 minutes in 2018. The Fotuaika interest is only if he starts & he has got a big motor. He a deadset future gun & early season frf is the one position that has comparable scores from players. e.g. Fifita is a beast but round 1 he could easily score 45-50 points (rounds 1 & 2 in 2018 he scored 48 pts in both rounds) & someone like LAM could match that (rounds 1 & 2 in 2018 scored 47 & 40). The big boys get easily fatigued until they reach match fitness.
I would rather own Drinkwater than Meaney.

I hear what your saying and fair point but Boyd isn't a show pony like Jayne, jayne faked injuries to avoid playing the eels, that shows the class of that shitbag

Thoughts Shaun Lane. 80Minutes. TB Ability. Can Tackle. Is he a cheaper kikua?
