Wouldn't work, wouldn't get enough dipping in to make the prize pot worth it after poor starts

Will start a new thread over the weekend for discussion on entry and prize breakdown.  For those who weren't in it, this is how we ran it last year:

    -$50 buy in
-ended up at $1650 total prize pool
-MTB took home $850 of our hard earned, and deservedly so after his one man nrlfantasy.com.au site worked better then the official one  cheer
-DK took the runner up $400; Russ the $200 3rd prize; and Milchy with the $200 Weekly
-entry by PayPal which means it's a safe transfer
-happy to set up the same or shake it up depending on the vox pop

It would be great to get things up in the 2k or 3k zone this year whether by increased numbers or increased stake.  A $1000 plus first prize would be awesome!!!

Feel free to throw some ideas around now or wait till the new thread is running.
Can we take the first 2 weeks to see how how our team has started before committing the cash??

Maybe only for Dragons supporters, and we'll give them till Round 10!

Hey mate, here's a list of all WFBs/CTRs from 2018 that played at least 2 games and were lower than 300k at some point of the season, their lowest price, highest price, and the difference. Unfortunately I can't quite filter it on "starting price", and the list also doesn't take into account how quickly or slowly money was made (or whether they started at a high price and lost money). So you'd have to have a look through it to work out who the actual cows were. Might be able to get a more accurate list tomorrow when my brain is functioning.

    2018 cheap wfbs and ctrs:

    That's solid MTB!

Plenty of cows at least making some cash. At least 20 making 200k+ at some stage in the season.
There's some surprising names in the list.

Interesting to see Holland peaking at 587k (40pts), that shows his potential for this season to increase about 150k (currently priced at 440k)

The North Queensland Cowboys have officially announced the re-signing of club legend Johnathan Thurston. As an official Cowboys ambassador. Guess that's counting to the cap with Farah's ?

    Tolo to EPL ?

We’re not that way inclined North of the wall. Thurston is the King of the North!

Is it just me or are they are trying to say that the Warriors are only paying Isaac Luke 150k this year?

Heard that on the radio on way home from work just now. Interesting to see if they can pull it off by round one.

That will be the end of Mahoney if it comes to pass.

Ted is only 200k more WL, but agree mate.  I'm taking the punt on Watson.  200k goes a long way elsewhere.

Watson is not a bad consideration, I can use some extra coin for the INT.

I've got TTurbo in but don't see many others.  Reasons?  Too much value in others?

The fuck? I missed that.  I thought Lord Lgey would be six.

I forgot Watson and Ponga switching too.  Man I've really left myself out of the loop with all the news.

Manly' s fixtures are not the best Wolfie and those running with Teddy haven't got the coin.

I honestly hope he goes. No disrespect, he had a great year for us last year.

Nate Roache, Sam Cook, Jazz Tevaga... imho we've got the players who are capable of stepping up.

The one thing would be the loss of experience. Losing Johnson, Mannering and Luke all in one off-season could either be devastating or a clean slate for us to push onwards and upwards from.

Thanks Trajan mate.  Again my lack of research fails me.  Watson is indeed tempting.
