So much value there, plus I think Chrichton is priced at his ppg output. Someone like Arrow who is slightly cheaper can push out scores the same if not higher, plus there is so much value around the 500-600K mark. Don't get me wrong, Chrichton is someone I will more than likely be aiming for come seasons end, I just see it much like the Tedesco situation, new club, new system, hoping he loses some cash before i pick him up.

Lots of different approaches firming up - guns and rookies, stacked hookers (yum), stacked FRF etc. I don't know where I'm going with this. Erm, keep it up!

Yeah alot of the early talk was around finding value and PODs, then we have a few trial games and now its how many gun forwards can i start with.

Interesting to see what this weekend trials dish up

Mahoney is in my team unless they sign Luke. I doubt they will though. BA has bigger things to worry about.

My tactic this year is primarily to go for value players with some cheapies. The way I see it, I'd rather have a player that scores 5-8 less points than a gun but earn $150k and higher, than a gun that will likely float around the same price. It's a risk, but in the early stage of the season, I'd put cash generation vs points at a 65:35 split. Yes, it is hard to make those points back, but I'd rather have two sub-guns turn into two guns, than struggle to get a gun+cow to turn into two guns.

What are everyone's thoughts on CNK vs Wighton for a spot on my team?

Why am I not seeing Crichton in anyone's team? He's in mine. Know he's been injured but he was close for WCC two weeks ago, should be fine for start of season and in Cronk's channel. Am I missing something?

So many mid-rangers and sub-guns in the 2RF this year. He'll be a target not a starter

Wighton is interesting. Could very well excel at 6.

Did Clifford play alongside Morgan in the trail or was Morgan absent?

I think it depends on who gets the 5/8 role.
Hodkinson took the goal kicking in the sharks trial and it sounds like he’s got his nose in front of Elgey at present.
Personally I’d prefer to see Elgey start, even though he’s ordinary, and DCE keep the goal kicking.

Gillett 2014 - 2017 starting Back row or Lock in games played >70 minutes = 70 games total for an avg of 50.07
    currently priced at 556k with a b/e or 37avg.

Lots of question marks over injury/fitness, Minutes/TPJ returning. Could be a legit goer though

It was reported that Elgey was seen in gk practice as well so I don’t think it matters which of the two grab the 6 spot. Either one will kick.

Wighton's defence at pivot should be a significant upgrade on Baustin

    No, not really.

I think Souths needed some forward depth, not much experience beyond their starting forwards.

Don’t get the wighton talk. Priced around 32. Is he just going to suddenly average 40+ at half to warrant a selection?
