Garrick? Why will he score more than Bird? Serious question.

I agree, I don't use it either really. Just pointing out his workload would have to increase as well as his minutes. But given he's gone from a strong pack to a weaker one I think workload would have to increase too. So I want 35+ and that's not unreasonable. But it's not without risk.
well anything over his current average would technically be a win lol but I don’t think it’s above expectations see him go around 33 around 8 above his current price which would be a decent price increase and score output IMO

Garrick?? I'm glad you suggested Bird as well because deep down he's on my hated list after last year when I bought him for CTR when he was playing 5/8 and instead I could have bought Ramien who went on 8 game tryscoring run

Bird's ownership is incredibly high (3rd highest in the game)

What would be the doggies bench?
    14. JMK
    15. Fualalo
    16. CHN/RFM
    17. Sue

CHN/RFM takes minutes off 2RF May spend some time up front, JMK for cover. Sue generally averages about 35 mins per game and fualalo about 40 (some time spent at lock) that’s leaves a lot of minutes for tolman and Napa. Am I wrong?

Garrick averaged 35 on ISP, decent, but didn't set the world on fire. Nikora in same position and cost averaged 44 including having an 8 minute game last season. He is also playing 2nd row which tends to get higher scores than center.

Has anyone stopped to think that Garner has been picked to get the KM's in his legs but won't be a straight swap for Lawrence and come off the bench ?

I think you answered your own question mate. Fantasy wise of course. Good player in real life and looks to rival Maubbs Beating Heart

They have the same average of 28, so Garner was getting the same scores in less minutes.
My point was more that we know or think we do what Stimson can achieve. With Garner it’s just PPM guess work. There have been so many PPM kings over the years that do absolutely nothing with extra minutes

I get why Nikora might score more than garrick or Bird. But why does Garrick score more than Bird was the quesition.

Wouldn’t B Elliot get the other centre spot if Walker is out?

Thats the wrong question then. No reason to have either Garrick or Bird in your team, when there is so much value in that position. Capewell, Nikora, Holland, potentially Xerri. They will all be better value than either of them.

The issue with that is it’s at that awkward point where do you play him or bench him? If you play him then he’s gotta be your first upgrade and being a slow burn you’ll miss half of his value. If you bench him you’re wasting money you could be using on points.

My memory is hazy it's been a while since Moylan played FB, but he was very good in real life from my recollection. But in fantasy, he's not that hard running tackle breaking fullback that you want.

I asked because maybe there was a reason Garrick scores more that I hadn't considered. I even said "serious question". I've never had him in my team and was wondering if there was a reason I should. In your opinion, no obviously. But I was asking the person who said Garrick would score more than Bird and I'm still wondering why.

Have you looked at Bird stats from last year? I had him in my team. He is a never again. I am not saying that Garrick is a good option, just that Bird is worse. I personally have Nikora and Holland.

Bird is a Difference of Point, otherwise known as a reverse POD
