Know what you mean but I’m not sure he belongs with those others. He looks locked in for a key role with the knights. The others are either short term replacements or bit-part.

Still think I’ll prob just overspend in this position

MS + 15 Plebs is back for another year. 8 were too scared to return so we have a few spots. First come first served

On Hughes, if you wanted to have a look at how he goes first and he averages 40 over the first 3 rounds, you could pick him up at around 526k; however, if he were to pump out a big score of a couple tries or he just kills it at fb and he averages between 50 and 55 you would be looking at around 578-604k (a rise of 75-100k). Any average under 40 and he is probably a wasted pick or a slow burner/late bloomer.

I can’t seem to bring myself to pick a fullback at half.

Because I rarely stick a half on the bench, just don’t like one of my 2 playing halves to be relying on kick returns and TBs etc. got 3 other positions to fill at WFB to do that. Prefer KMs for starters.

Did flirt with Watson but kept taking him back out and either moving to WFB or binning

    Thoughts on these options:
    (1) Taupau + Kahu
    (2) LAM + Edwards
    (3) Surgess/Vaughan + Hughes

Other FRF is Fifita and other WFBs are CNK + Watson

I just like the price mate.
Allows me to get Edwards in to the WFB slot alongside CNK and Morris.

On the subject of cheapish WFB (Bmoz, CNK, Kahu, Meaney tier) I'd rather go with an out and out cheapie and bank the cash. We have seen all those guys before and we know what they have to offer fantasy wise. I'd rather take the risk at the next Brimson/Cotric/Isaako

@Liverpool_Bulldog - I really like your idea and thinking. If Hughes can average 45ish that’s a good pick and easy upgrade from there; however if he averages 40, I can see DBrown, Keighran doing the same thing but at basement price and spend it somewhere else? Hey, go with your gut? If it is telling you to chuck Hughes in at half then do it! Otherwise if you don’t and he kills it you’ll regret it.

Yeah I hear ya. The only guy I feel comfortable with there is Ravalawa and he might not even make the team haha

Hey MS - I agree with you there, however, I think most people are banking on the below
BMoz - previous pedigree, plus moving from a bottom tier side to reigning premiers in a position where his former averaged 43 points last year. Plus he killed it in the WCC
CNK - not much to go off at fb and only ever played on the wing really at the warriors. Shown glimpses of what he can do in the trials and is a speedy man. At FB in a team that relies on attacking and speed the points are there.
Kahu - always been a winger and could never crack the FB possy begins Boyd. Has always wanted to be FB and behind the cowboys pack could see him score some more tries, more RM from kick returns, plus goal kicking.
Meaney - I’m not sold on

So I do see where they’re coming from ( I only have CNk in my team but just might’ve sold myself on Kahu) These guys are cheaper than your Cotrics etc but could possibly still see a 35-40 average, possibly slightly more if ya lucky.

HOLY. When Ah Mau played more 45 minutes or more last year he averaged 57(in 6 games). I really want to pick him but will he be able to keep up the ppm when starting, hows his offload? I know warriors love some second phase footy.

Hey lads, would love your opinion on this one!
    A) Cook (c) + Napa (bench)
    B) Macca (Fifi will be captain) + TPJ bench?

Crazy numbers. Very tempted to run him and Vaughan to start the year but feels trappy

I'd lean towards b) I trust Fifi still involved in the b option?
