The following post from
@Alfie will give you a bit more background:
Warriors
8. LAM 45
9. Luke 65
10. Paasi 40
11. Pap 80
12. Harris 80
13. Blair 60
14. Tevaga 40
15. Afoa 25
16. Lisone 25
17. Burr 20
After an insane 91 without a try last year, Big Leeson looks like he should enjoy a reasonable minute increase. However does his playing style and impact change now that he’s starting and not coming on fresh mid-game. Also, the warriors props rarely played more than 50 mins. Does that change? Isaiah Papalii is another player that could provide value given he averaged well over his 39 average when playing the 80. Jazz Tevaga could be a good POD this year as well after he went to another level in 2018. The stocky workhorse could get a look in for the 9 or 13 jersey if Issac Luke isn't fit for round 1 or Jazz outdoes his teammates in pre-season. Sidenote: if Lachlan Burr gets a look at the 13 jersey, he would definitely be popular given his workhorse rep and his cash cow price.
Think those minutes are a little off. Afoa won't be getting 25 minutes. He'll be 35 minutes +. Was the case last season until injury, and is getting better every year (best prop in the first trial easily). People forget he's only 22.
That bench is also unlikely, Tevaga isn't a hooker for longer than 10 minutes, he's a lock or mobile prop. There is a lot of competition for bench spots, I'd pick;
Tevaga (spelling Blair @ 13 for 30 mins, and 10 mins of prop)
Roache (30 minutes for the previously injured Luke, looking electric, great to have him back)
Afoa (workhorse, 35-40 minutes @ prop)
Pulu (20 minute prop role/Second row cover)
Pulu could easily lose his spot to Burr, Sao, Satae or Lisone, but would likely be on reduced minutes. I think Burr will be a trap currently. SK loves a guy who gets FA minutes on the bench.
LAM still would expect 40 minutes + IMO, so will give him a punt. Better than McGuire in my team anyway!
Paasi had some big minutes last season, and was class. Can't wait to see these guys roll up together.
