Not a chance in hell will I be dropping Morgan. I was talking about the Kahu conversation from this morning. I’ll likely start Capewell over Nikora just so I have the option to trade from him to Nikora if rd1 doesn’t go the way I expect.GreenMachine wrote:
Trials don’t really clear up/out players for me.
You dropping Morgan after 19pts in 80min?
Comes down to whether you think the cowboys will be any good, and if so their fullback is offered out of position a bit above rookie price, and their halves are the most cut price in the league with nothing but JT upside? Course you could go Sezer or Bird alternatively. Or start Nikora or Keighran for much cheaper - who could both be one match away from never seen again this season
The main point of trials for fantasy is to try and judge who are going to be the key men. Who doesn’t play when the second team is out? Who is vying for a position vs has one locked in? 80min in full strength line up for Kahu and Morgan is a good takeaway for me. Sticking

Thanks mate.
I’m thinking Cleary to Morgan may fix that issue. But I do like Gavet as a bolter.
But he's ill-disciplined as well & gives away a lot of stupid penalties like the 1 in the trial.

So much ebb and flow around player popularity. Everyone had so many Broncos from the start now I barely hear a lick of them. Ofa was a great FRF pick now no one is talking about him. I love it, so much discussion about so many different players.

I haven’t watched tonight’s yet but it’s easy to see where he’s coming from. Milf looks like hitting his potential this year to me after years of talk but I still think the better Niko brother is the one who’s probably labouring somewhere right now wishing he took his chances.Khany wrote:Anyone else think after nrl 360 Matty Johns hasn't much of a wrap on the broncos halves ?

What's the hype around gavet? I don't see him getting too many points/minutes in a team with klem, glasby, easy e and saifiti

A few of us on the Lam mate. Has been a trap in the past so most will probably wait and see the Warriors rotation in the first Round or two.
Even I couldn't justify that this year.

All the stats say yes. The only dissenters are myself and Rabs from what I’ve seen and we’re going off nothing but a hunch.churg wrote:If stimson starts is he a must have?

I think Ofa is a good option. I'm undecided between LAM and Ofa. I think LAM has more upside but big risk because we don't know how he'll be used. Ofa is the only other real prop at the Broncos if TPJ is at 13 and Broncos will be relying heavily on those starting middles

I wouldn't say must have but he is a great option for sure. He's a base stats man just tackles. But so far his trial form is down then rested with a back problem so you start thinking do I want someone who will be underdone in round 1. I also read somewhere they were thinking of giving NAS some game time on the edge & it won't be F. Kaufusi coming off.

Has there been much discussion about Whitehead? Will he go back to 80 on the edge? If so he'll be back to 45+

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 10
Most of the Broncos pack would be good picks if we knew their minutes. I think the issue is that they’re so stacked that everyone’s worried a different good pick will take minutes off the good pick that they like so we end up not picking any.StormTrooper96 wrote:So much ebb and flow around player popularity. If TPJ is lock I don’t care about his hammies he is in my team. Other than Dugan, you can’t not pick a player waiting for them to get an injury because they could go boom and that injury be in the past. Also if TPJ is lock Ofa will be partnering Fifi with TPJ on the bench for dpp cover.
