In terms of player nicknames, we need Fotuaika to get a starting spot, just so that everyone can have a MoFo in their team

Neither for me. On here Napa seems to be getting more love, on the FB pages it’s Garner.

If I had to choose one I think I’d go Garner based on potential scores. But bloke has da HIV and a whole heap of Ressie players breathing down his neck. In saying that, the club seem to really rate him.

    A Runt MoFo combo.
What does everyone know about Runt? He's got that juicy DPP.

I predict the raiders pack will change so much over first few rounds. Trapping anyone looking for a cheapie and basically ruining all options because they will slow burn due to inconsistent minutes

The predicted teams aren't any more reliable than what most of us can come up with. To be honest, the only time I look at them is to check if I've forgotten someone when considering what role a forward might play.

Hey guys just struggling with picking last player: Stimson/Capewell/Sironen etc

    Team is:

    Mahoney
    Fifita Taupau
    Arrow Murray Lane
    Keighran DBrown
    Holland Nikora
    RTS Watson DEdwards

    Papali'i, Garner, Stimson, BLawrie

Host, Burr, Lomax, 212K +48K remaining.

I don't really rate the Sironen pick because he misses so many tackles and with the backline players of Parker, Elliot, Funa, Garrick, Taufua I see the Eagles getting a few hidings. My tip for wooden spoon at this stage.

I'd be more concerned about the fact that your only 2 half options are have played 0 first grade games between them. And they are both base price. if eitehr one fails you are likely going to need to find $250k in order to upgrade to someone else decent (which is assuming Morgan is viable otherwise you'll need a tonne of cash)

You also seem to have a bunch of players in your 14-21 that are only around for injury cover (if they play at all) and you'll have to sped all your trades on them over the first month.

You also seem to have a bunch of  players in your 14-21 that are only around for injury cover (if they play at all) and you'll have to sped all your trades on them over the first month.

Firstly, most people have 1 of keighran and Brown starting and potentially the other one could be some teams 17th man.
Secondly, I have cover with Watson.
Thirdly, I would prefer to pick base price fullbacks/centres/wings than midrangers but not have to play them re: Lomax/Ravalawa/Sivo/Allan/Xerri/Funa/Garrick I think they will make more than someone like CNK/Meaney/Morris because they have a 12 point headstart.

I really do believe the real winner of no JDB is Blake Lawrie. Korbin is a straight swap for LAM and then Lawrie comes in as 3rd/4th prop and could hit scores between 30-40 points depending on minutes. Even when Korbin comes back I still think he is the big winner. A much better pick than a base price player and someone like Napa I feel.

Stimson will start and play 65-80. He was rested due to back soreness. Kbum is a middle player.
Garner will get a good 6 weeks starting, is highly rated and will do very well.

Host/Burr I'm not sure of. Apparently Kearney has said Burr will be part of the prop rotation with the ability to fill in for lock. I think he has a place in the team but not sure he will get enough minutes.
Host might be better off being an 80 minute cheapy but may give him the first 2-3 weeks at the lack of a better option.

There is the risk in starting 1 of Keighran/Brown as you have the other to swap into if one is bust, but realistically most teams will carry a dud scorer in their team. However you have the risk in that you don't really have someone to swap them to. Yes you have Watson to cover, but for him to move there. It means you are starting Lomax. (Not the worst but Watson also has question marks about how much he will get.)

I agree, even though I have CNK that base price WFB's have more value this year than guys like Meaney or BMorris.
