Long time lurker, first time poster. Appreciate all the great discussion on here.
Thought as a bit of a laugh for I’d see if I could make a team of players with 3 letter acronyms - I won’t be going with it but it fits under the salary cap (and will probably go better than my actual team)
JMK
JWH, RCG
TPJ, RFM, SST
TMM, DCE
SKD, MCK
CNK, MWZ, RTS
DWZ, JFH, CHN, GGM
4 x 212k
JDB, LAM, JAC missed the cut
Some upvotes, hey.

Can we also take a minute to appreciate the fact that Daedalus’ team name is “Scone Louts”

We all know showbags look flashy but are full of shit, so thought he could use the help. Also MF is trying to do the late scramble to fill leagues and it's a nice change seeing him do something around here.

As i have also stated earlier, Bulldogs bench pack doesn't scream a whole lot of size or oomph. Napa and Tolman could see big minutes with the bench likely JMK, CHN, Sue, Fualolo i dont see Napa and Tolman seeing less than 45-50 minutes.
I don't know why im trying to talk myself into starting Napa, maybe he can sit on my bench somewhere.

How many players say they left a club because they weren't wanted any more?
Maybe that sort of stuff will be said years later, but its rarely admitted at the time.
Its also rare for players suggest they are leaving because they can get more money at the new club

I’d back Ofa/Ah Mau to outscore Fifita/Napa most weeks for a very similar price

Anyone thinking ahead to TLT and what surprises they think will pop up? As a raiders follower, I’m feeling a cheap frf will pop up. But be a huge trap. I’m almost sure players like knight just warmed the bench for 75mins a game a few times last year. Would be hesitant to pick up hunt/horsburg and less extent gueler

You'd only be buying Ofa and LAM if you thought they'd hit 50. Therefore if Fifita's getting 60's then Napa would need to be getting 40's to match them which I think is unlikely. Therefore Ofa and LAM hitting 50's is the big question. One which has been heavily debated. You're probably right about which pair scores more, but with the Fifita one, you at least get one guaranteed keeper.
