obviously players would prefer to be starting, but sometimes people are on the bench because of team make-up, and i think this is one of those times, Su'A and Fifita are different types of players, the latter doesn't have the motor to play 80 just yet, and i think there's more value in Su'A starting and Fifita coming in later in the game on fresh legs than the other way around

Last year when SJ was out RTS stood up & was the go to man on attack. Gauging by the trial it will repeat this year.

I had the same feeling but I'm not going with it.

Even if he does perform better, will it really be 10 points per game better? I doubt it. I just don't see enough upside in him/too much of a risk.

I like Glasby at the moment. If he's named to start at lock and plays good minutes, he could be 10 points undervalued. It also depends on what the Knights bench looks like though so it's a bit of a risk still.

I THInk expecting a 10 point increase out of anyone is a pretty big over estimate. Have seen about 15 different mid range guys called ‘10 points undervalued’ and I just don’t see it. Most of them you will be lucky to see a 6-7 point increase in value.
Outside of base price players last year from memory we saw Cook, Arrow, JFH and RFM have these kind of increases with the rest enough to make cash but not in the range most are thinking.

- Matt McIlwrick has signed with Parramatta for 2019.
- Good news for Damien Cook, bad news for Reed Mahoney. 
- Joe Stimson still in doubt for Round 1, won’t play 80 minutes until fully fit.
- Issac Luke also in doubt for opener.

McIllwrick signing with Parra immediately could be the spanner in the works for everyone's TLT.
Annoyingly, Parra don't play til Sunday. :-/

Ikin mentioned on 360 that someone he knew well on the Warriors staff (I assume Corvo) said that RTS was in the best shape of his life and he seemed to be even more involved on attack in the trial. But he does scare me a bit because his bad games are usually really bad Fantasy wise.

That's the problem with the Eels not playing til Sunday.
They name him in an extended squad and he slips into the 17 and spells Reed or he's named in the 17 and drops out on game day.

Being named in the extended squad will make everyone nervous and my bet is that is what happens.

What minutes split do we think will occur with McIllwrick and Mahoney

All those teams with Mahoney as primary hooker...........

I think I'll stick with Mahoney. McIllwrick has played 56 games across 7 seasons. I don't think he impacts too much on Mahoney.
