Going to be interesting as I think at least two of Lomax, Allan, Xerri will be there within first month and make plenty of cash, so that's a couple of trades burnt already plus a realignment of teams.

I am trying to come up with a list of players that haven’t been mentioned much in here yet to make myself challenge the divergent thinking of the group.

What are people’s thoughts on Tohu Harris and Elliot Whitehead?

I see Whitehead being a bit like Gillett in terms of well underpriced given his fantasy history but I guess the downside is he is potentially an early injury away from being Aubusson 2.0 each week.
Harris was a gun last year before his injury - maybe a bit expensive but he could be a decent POD.

Some others that I haven’t seen a lot of discussion on but who have some degree of fantasy pedigree:

    Hess
    Mbye
    Cotric
    Alvaro
    Mansour
    Brailey
    Hampton

I really like Tohu, but believe he is priced rather accordingly, maybe a little under. However, there is some great value in 2RF this year so is being overlooked. Same reason I haven't really looked at Whitehead or Hess

Of that list I like Alvaro and Mansour the most. Alvaro sort of had his break-out year last year and now priced at 51, but would feel comfortable with him as a 2nd prop. Mansour can definitely go well above a 34 average. However, most are looking at trying to get even more value picks here with the likes of CNK and Borris and a gun like Teddy/Edwards/RTS. Otherwise, Cotric can bust out big scores but the temptation was him at FB last year and CNK has that for now

    Interesting list.

Hess suffers from Cowboys minutes conundrum. Brailey was only fantasy relevant when he was a base price cash cow, and is possibly going to be overtaken by his brother.

Cases could be made for all the others, and I'd add Tapine as someone who has had zero attention but could gun it.

-Minutes concern plus lots of 2RF value
-Not sure why he's not mentioned more
-We're expecting the same as what we've had from him
-People either want true guns or value, he's slight unders
-Was talked about heaps a while ago
-People are saying his brother is better

So who are our geniune 212k - 230k grabs?

    • D Brown
    • A Keighran
need to be in every team

    • B Nikora
probably does too, supposing he is starting as expected

    • M Ravalawa
    • R Garrick
seem like solid buys for the WFB/CTR roulette, and appear to be starting

    • L Burr
    • J Host
are FRF/2RFs who might see increased roles based on injury come TLT

    • T Mikaele
    • T Kamikamica
    • T Flegler
    • R Hunt
are FRF/2RF gambles who are likely to be on the bench and see limited minutes

    • B Xerri
    • Z Lomax
    • C Allan
are players to watch who will probably start a few weeks into the season and earn cash and points

    Anyone important I'm missing pre-TLT?

Possibly Seve if the rumour of Chambers being injured is correct
Would love to see a bolter - like Taka moving to forwards for Terepo and Sivo comes in on the wing.

    Other cheapies

Brad Parker and/or Brendan Elliot will probably get a run in the Manly backline

On Panthers if JFH grabs the edge I would expect Sele at lock. Will likely be in my 21 regardless as he looks like first forward interchange, normally a 40 odd minute role

Some thinking Hetherington will play lock but I think Sele will. He's earned the start because he's been one of the top performers in pre season training & his trial form has been very good. In the trial Hetherington played he looked unfit & a bit out of condition.
