Sorry, I wasn't trying to come across as having the definitive answer or anything. But I do think he has a lot of upside. The stats do indicate that he at least has the potential to be as good as (2018) Angus Crichton.

Daily Tele is reporting that Bailey Simonsson will play wing for the Raiders.

Oldfield is out, could be back as early as week 2. I don't know enough about the Raiders to know if he will be straight back into the side or if Simonsson could keep him out.

    I regretted that hugely

He's pretty tempting at 450k, but that pack is a bit of an unknown.. would Niukore get 65 mins? Does Mau have a mortgage on a starting position or is Niukore a chance to stay there?

Does Lana play 80 or no?

Welcome to my team Burr. Only need a few good scores and he will do the job. Blair likely to start on an edge.

I think the lengthy time off for concussion is a legitimate concern.

He's not super cheap either so there might be better value out there. but certainly he is worthy of consideration

4 Warriors in my team - this is only going to go one way isn't it

Hopefully Alex Corvo weaves his magic in the early rounds

More tempted to do RTS and Matterson to Hughes and Lolo now

Adds Milford: "What's good with the coach is that I think we're going to be a lot more hands-on with the ball which will suit us ball-runners. He'll bring my running game into play a lot more. We're getting our hands on the ball first up instead of playing out the back of our ruck which I think will benefit us and help to bring Kodi and myself into the game."

Siebold said the same thing on NRL360 last night. Sounds like they are cutting out the "link forward" stuff on backline moves.

Probably meaningless, and will be interesting to see if it is even noticable on the field.

I'm just trying to point out that his good scores came from either tries/try saves etc and high tackle counts. He will not get those same high tackle counts at the Tigers, due to being on the edge for the whole 80 minutes. There is no Aubo coming off the bench to replace Matterson on an edge for him to move into the middle of the park. The Tigers have a lot more middle depth. Now I expect his average to be somewhere between 46-48 points which is not bad but probably not quite keeper. Doesn't play round 12. Not trying to talk anyone out of a good player but I'm just saying don't expect the 55 average that some are believing.

Yeah it is a risk. Tbh I think he didn't give the first concussion enough time to recover which meant the kick to the head did more damage. It's hard to sit out though. I got concussed in a pre-comp game last year and then concussed again during the comp. Stupid af. But you don't wanna let your team down. Matterson taking that time off was the smartest thing to do. I'm either taking a gamble on him or Lane, but the Lane+$$ might be the deciding factor

So who would you have instead of Munster in the first option?

I would like Matterson, or another value second rower.

Currently have Arrow, Murray, Lane, Niukore, Garner.

So basically adding Matterson to that crew or perhaps a Whitehead/Radley/Sironen and spend a bit more at WFB.
