At least you can confidently say "I had him at some point this pre-season" to every player who guns it this round.

50 with basically no attacking stats except one TA (KBrom's try) and one LBA (JBrom's try) is pretty handy for me, it's good to see him kicking as much as he did

I hope TPJ gets named at lock next week after they got pummelled the first and last quarters. Would make not having Gillett a possibility.

I barely noticed Smith on the field thought he would have been lucky to get 30 certainly surprised when I saw he was on 62

I agree. Irritated about it tonight, but I still think this might happen too. I'll certainly consider him next week, but depending what else happens, he's definitely not a must-have for me yet. Definitely wish I had him at the moment, but as Cher once said...

He got 2 TB’s I’m fairly sure by doing those bs sideways runs where people just start missing tackles. A couple of those a game and you can’t complain. Should be getting 30+ easy. And this was against a good Melbourne side

Honestly, Im happy with how he went from a Bronx perspective. He will only improve from here.

Traded Gillett in today. Almost traded Bird in today.

As a Gillette owner I am thrilled but I was expecting attacking points. 57 tackles in 69 minutes will stuff you, no wonder he was running lazy decoys.They might change his workload but with the Broncos draw
going forward it is hard to predict where he will be. Mighty effort first up after such a terrible injury.

Looked at the rankings page. I'm 65,000th (no players today) but some teams with Melbourne avatars who've clearly picked the entire Storm team are on over 750.

Happy i made room for Gillett this morning. Had Bird as well and he really impressed from both a supporter and fantasy standpoint

only CS9 and Jbird tonite.  few decisions to make....

The Broncos believe James Roberts’ back pain was due to a disc issue, & he was still in considerable pain post game. Hopefully no disc herniation & is just an acute irritation. How he pulls up in the next 48 hrs very important. Can be anywhere from days to several weeks recovery - nrlphysio

I wish roberts could stay fit ffs. Was injured all last season, now a bloody random back issue.

So much put on one game. Tbh I'm glad I only had one player lol

even with 30s Bird in for some hefty price rises moving forward, heavily involved
