I know it sounds like panic tactics, but I'm thinking going into next week with some coin could be a decent move to fix up some dud cows and get more expensive cows like Bird. He was awful and 50 points for a couple of slapsies running across the field. They were less convincing then what Fifta does.

How did you think Hughes went? Still content with choosing Edwards for me now personally
I've wanted and had Edwards on and off all along but can't squeeze him in no matter what I do now. Got rid of Hughes today for Burns, to free up a bit of $$ with someone who I didn't think was worth his price tag. I was a hell of a lot more annoyed with my decision to get rid of Hughes at half time than I was at full time. 44 is nice, but if Burns matches it or gets close I'll be happy enough with my choice.
Apologies for photo bombing that reply.

Thanks for something to think about. At the moment I have 15K left but I have Fotuaika. I will do a lot of pondering about that decision tomorrow.

The people pulling down Bird's performance tonight are the ones who don't have him. He was solid, looked strong and aside the error which lead to Melbourne's runaway try, established himself well and was busy in attack and defence. He looks hungry this year.
And why should we be surprised? He has a history of averaging 44, 35 & 35 in the seasons previous to 2018. Break even of 19. Low risk pick.
Regarding Macca, I'm disappointed I went against my gut and picked him. There's just no attacking spark there anymore. His legs are completely gone. He'll tackle all day, but don't be surprised to see him fizzle out to 48-50 ppg average, whilst Smith & Cook streak ahead at 60ppg+.

I only had one player, they scored 10 over their BE and I am still feeling the fear of missing out.

Agree on Bird, I don't have him but want him now
Macca, not so much, just looked gassed from all tackling in first half and those Storm middies are fucking monsters!

If Roberts is out a while, Bird could end up seeing more ball coming his way.
From a non fantasy perspective Seibold is probably going to want him to rein in the sideways metres but he was heavily involved and they'll look to use him well as a strike player.

I guess the reality is that there will be 50+ players that all score well over their BE this weekend. You can't get them all.

Happy with Gillett pick. Always good seeing players come back from bad injuries even if I don't support their team. Had bird as a NPR, looked solid and will definitely be in my 17 for R2.

I expected a lot more from Macca but pretty lucky I took the c off him. Hoping he updates as I saw a good 5 to 8 tackles not get added.. Probably getting Gillett if one of my value picks fail. Bird is locked in

I messed up by going Flegler in the squad instead of D Brown just before kick off. Still have Gillet and Bird tho.

If Roberts is out for a while does Staggs get a starting spot?

Reason why Curtis Scott is only 3% ownership? Did people forget about him, or did I miss something re: injury or something?

If the nrl stats guys missed tackles for macca (51), then so did champion data (50), and foxsports (45). I wouldnt expect an update.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 14
Hey so I finally reset my password, but Shooters back!
Didn't have much time to plan my team this year around work and uni so definitely need some pointers if anyone is able to help thanks very much in advance...
a) Koro in the halves (as Hooker cover - shifting Brown to Halves if need be) with Keighran and Allan as an EMG. About 250k ITB.
b) Brooks/Morgan in halves with Keighran and Radley as Reserve (acting as hooking cover) meaning I dont need to play Brown as a reserve but restricts me 30-150k ITB depending on who I choose from Brooks/Morgan?
Sorry its all a little confusing but if anyone has a moment and has an opinion Id love to hear it!
Low key panicking after McCullough's 49 but hopefully he picks up soon to 55ish
