I hate black boxes, and so its hard to tell. But I think that the price predictor on the NRL site has updated to incorporate Birds week 1 score. As a result its not giving you the week 1 price change.

Looks like their new tool flops once a player has played for the round.... A+

It's clear Gillett and TPJ are the real winners. This really does make Gillett a trade target. Can't see him not staying at lock because their middle rotation would be horrocious otherwise. Need one of Offa/TPJ to be on bench.
I would start TPJ at prop over Offa.

Gillett did absolutely nothing but tackle for 70 minutes. He is our best backrower, Seibold shouldn't be keeping him at lock.

Yeah I agree, I think the minutes will be completely different next week.

Having said that, I'm pretty sure putting TPJ at lock isn't the answer either.

I'd prefer ofa to be there, drop SuA and rotate gillet back to 2rf.

Have TPJ and and Lodge as props, with fifta coming off the bench.

Just realised I don't have any chooks in my team, is it too late to bring Maubs Love in?

5 players playing tonight, curious to see if Nikora is going to come up with the goods. Will Capewell deliver 40+?

I'm expecting big things from Captain Fifita and Murray.

A bit nervous about my Glasby pick silent

Jack Bird averaged 32 at CTR in 2017 and 35 in 2016.

Last year he got stuffed around through various positions and suffered from injury.

If he is fit again I have no problems assuming he can average over 30 again this year. He'll be priced at around 21-22 after the updates so still a lot of cash to make. If you want him grab him now whilst he is still cheap.

Lots more to happen over the course of the weekend, but for now I feel I will want him

I dont personally. With Hunt +  Norman there now, it seems like too many cooks in the kitchen. Widdop can however score big, would be a POD I suspect?

    Fantasy vs real life.

    6 players tonight for me.

Probably more excited for tonight than last night. Two games. More drinks. Broncos out of the road already, so game related less stress.

Just checked out the price predictor on the official fantasy site.

It has already included Bird's 50 as a score in his history, but hasn't updated his price to what they expect it to be next week.
So whatever score you put in it predicts price change if last night's 50 and your score were both put in at once. Not very useful at all so you are better off with mtbs site or my spreadsheet.

Assume that will be the same for everybody once they have played their first game over the weekend.

I have that exact CTR combo. Only difference is I do have Bird but in my reserves.

Whether I put Bird on the interchange depends on how well Napa, Host and Nikora go. Any sub 30 scores from them and they're benched next week.

The Broncos were also very stagnant in offence. They tackled their asses out for 20 minutes and by the time they saw any ball they were all too fucked to do anything with it. They didn't have a single tackle inside the Storm's 20 until like the 50th minutes. It was also Gillett's first game at lock. If Gillett goes to 2RF then either Sua or Fifita will have to drop out and Glenn becomes the 50 minute man (I dont see this happening). Can't count ya chickens after one game. This experiment will take a couple weeks to work itseld out. Gillett will get the chance to make more attacking plays. Give it time.

Maubbs Tonne RD1 and ride the wave from the bench next week.
I'll be happy with a 38 from Nikora
    Capewell I see posting 45
Fifi will want to beat down the whole Knights pack so he will go well.
Murray is a star of the future, not just fantasy wise. He will play 60+ minutes and almost go at a ppm.
Glasby will get a nice 43 and make you wonder if that is a par score or above average

I won't be re-jigging my team this week, bar any injury concerns, i have enough cash to trade him in next week but i want to give all my players the chance to show their worth. I picked them for a reason so i wont give up on them just yet.
