Burns looks the real deal, against quality opposition tonight as well

Radley was dissapointing but he will go better next week one would think

People who have played fantasy long enough should know better than to make sideways trades when only 3 matches have been played for the year.

yup same with Macca to Friend

Although I can advocate the Radley - Bird sort of trade for the extra cash and price rises

Radley got the minutes and I don't think he misses that many moving forward

    ppm of 0.42 tonight.

Assume a ppm of 0.75 and he’s scoring 46. I think that would be reasonable.
Zero attaching points tonight with the missed tackles.

Should do better if he gets another chance.

Well been on the turps in the gong and just checking in
Pretty surreal day with everything that has happened in nz, being a kiwi and living in Chch for a while really does put this game we love into perspectice but enjoy the footy being on and having something to take my mind off things going on there
Will leave it at that, family and friends are safe so let’s leave the footy in here as it does give people a way to switch off.

As for the fantasy, high scoring round with the cheap backs going well so far, a lot of the middie forward gambles misfiring and the gun forwards doing their job

The hookers are all firing too or at worst hitting their BE, while the cheapies are going good to.
I think this is when it all goes downhill haha

Can’t complain really and how about that black widow scoring that sexy try?
Almost 6% ownership, come on people own up.. I know one of you did

    Anyways have a good one

Ponga for prez wrote:I know this is early days but is a straight swap from macca to friend actually not that bad of a trade? I feel like friend just has the endurance to play the 80 and still get through a ton of tackles - whereas macca might take a while to get used to 80 mins. What do you guys think?

Used to 80 minutes? Macca has played 80 minutes for the QLD Maroons, his fitness is not an issue. The issue with him is if his game style is going to change under Siebold.

He needs to do more than just be a tacklebot. The Storm are not the team to prove it against.

Looking at my team I'm probably gonna downgrade a mid price player to bird and go radley to friend. Friend could be a straight swap to smithing coming weeks

The two players I don't have that properly interested me in those first two games were Moylan and Munster. However all my mid and pricier players have gone ok* so won't be sideways trading. You can't have everyone.

    *except Ted

Going to take a lot of control to just not snap remove my 2 roosters assets already.
Gillett for Radley and Burns for Morris starting in the face. Must. Not. Kneejerk. The premiers

Would people be looking at trading in Friend if he didnt get that try? Relax people. The weather meant he was always going to make 1000 tackles tonight. Wont happen that often..

So a lot of people were hot on Gillett after last night. Just checked the stats though and Radley has 6 MTs. Since it's wet, that's to be expected. I'll likely hold him but he'll be a slow burn. Disappointed because I was planning on 40ish but not panic stations

No point hitting the panic button yet in regards to players under performing in round 1

@SI Yeah live just north of Newy (Port Stephens) we call it paradise. Been putting up with the Knights having a $3mill team for years now, feels good to watch a game and see their forwards match it with the heavyweights.
