Listen up MTB, the way it works round here is if you go above your BE you get traded in. Right!

Friend would of scored above that without the try. So yes! okay?

I would love to see what the rest of your team looks like. That has to be the most expensive bench going!

Went Mahoney to Friend yesterday which left me with no money, but happy with my decision. Was progressively talked into it over the last few days lol

Have the team in my thread. But have the usual suspects most are running going light in the back 5 with Nikora/Capewell/Burns played so far
Have kept 200k spare and trying out a few different strategies as well

Nikorima needs a bodyguard in defence, Gillett played the same role for Hunt and I'd say there's a fair chance he'll shift back to an edge.

He might not but I'd want to be sure I have a dud on my hands before I spend a trade on what might not be a huge upgrade.

Ponga for prez wrote:I know this is early days but is a straight swap from macca to friend actually not that bad of a trade? I feel like friend just has the endurance to play the 80 and still get through a ton of tackles - whereas macca might take a while to get used to 80 mins. What do you guys think?

    Friend
    3 TBs, 2 LBs, 1 T = 27 points
    41 RM, 88 KM = 8 points
    Made 68 tackles and missed 4 = 60 points

    Macca
    0 attacking stats = 0 points
    31 RM, 66 KM = 6 points
    Made 51 tackles and missed 4 = 43 points

I know we said the broncos had no ball but quite literally that 2nd half the roosters had no ball for large periods. They seem to be the same player but Friend just had a big game. If you'd be happy with Friend scoring like Macca this week then do it but if you like Friend then I think you like Macca just as much and are paying 70k for a quick price rises and similar points. Would be looking for another way.

I see both making 45-60 tackles a week with 2-4 misses. Combine that with a few cheeky darts and kicks and you have 45 - 65 points a week. The attacking stats I feel will be close at seasons end so not crediting them much now. Bring Friend in by all means but not at the expense of the same player. Also he's a keeper at 780k that will quickly crater with one sub 40 game and that big score dropping out. If he is a slightly better Macca do you want to commit multiple trades to him for scoring you already have?

Take away the linebreaks, try and tackle breaks he never gets he scores under 70.

Last season he struggled to get a LB or try the entire season.

Would love as many people as possible to trade Macca to Friend.
That would ensure Macca gets a try and 80 point game next week whilst Friend makes a par 50.
I took both of them because I knew the fantasy gods can't resist these kinds of games.

About Radley, obviously disappointing but he did play 62 minutes so definitely some positive signs moving forward
-12 in MT and 0 attacking stats also did not help.
But I also worry about his play style, rushes out to put defensive pressure on rather than worrying about making the tackle. That -12 might not be his last. He is first in line for the chopping block, but I would not be so upset if another players of mine failed even harder to warrant the cut instead.

Probably plays 80 next week to ruin that dream though Sad

Broncos were beaten up front and mentally... I've got Friend and Macca and I'll probably keep both... But Fifi playing 70 odd minutes is hard to look past.. Interested how the rest of the games go

    446/8 Cook(c)

I was disappointed I went Fifita/Radley to Macca/Ofa but next week could be different.
My only concern is Tatola but not looking to trade yet.

Calker is just that kind of player mate. With Radley, capable of coming good over the long term and deserved a few more weeks. I don’t have him so easy for me to say though.

Yep no tries and just 1 LB last year.

92 is a one off. He should average 55-60 I'd expect.
