In all seriousness, though, it happens. Guys have a season like Cook did in 2018 and the next year the dood can't move because every single player on every single team is trying to stop him doing what he did the previous year.
I'd love to shit to have Cook in my team, but am comfortable with using those dollars elsewhere. For now. I still want him somewhere along the line, hopefully if he drops in price significantly.

Looking at last year I think he’s a fair chance to hit 40’s in the edge. Just that fucking temper of his that worries me.Adrianoooo wrote:Teeth Eater wrote:
I never once even considered his name throughout the entire pre-season, but today I inserted Hethrington into my squad (NPR) due to his price, BE, and a FRF starting in the second row. I still hate having him and worry massively about his temperament, but jeez there's definitely reason for taking a punt at his price.
If he moves to middle during the game he would be a decent pick up I think. 80 minutes on the edge ? Idno

Why does 28 seem much healthier than a 26 haha!

I suppose because in Allan's case it can be seen as the difference in a whole player's score...

So a lot of people were hot on Gillett after last night. Just checked the stats though and Radley has 6 MTs. Since it's wet, that's to be expected. I'll likely hold him but he'll be a slow burn. Disappointed because I was planning on 40ish but not panic stations
he would have got 44 if he had made those tackles

Cook scored 57 in round 1 of 2019. For us cook owners, just know he scored 57 in RD1 last year... 72 the next week.

How can you complain about that? Backs in horrendous weather and Radley missing 6 tackles? Oh and just the 184 from your captain!!Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Teddy 18

The weather was not good for Teddy, one rerason why I was happy to start without him and get Friend as my last gun instead.
Of course he'll probably fire off an 80 next week, but for now signs are good that we can bring him in cheap in a few weeks

Yeah fair play that. I went back and forth between him and Watson last night. Glad I held, hoping for better things in the future.
579/10 captain done
Also how long do we wait to jump on Crichton?

Welp, I knew captaining Teddy would be a gamble but I didn't think he'd fuck up so badly. That was pretty much my only point of difference to the cookie cutter teams so I suppose I have some catching up to do

You can wait pretty much until you're sure he is back to form. His BE will be high so even if he starts and scores well he most likely losses cash. Just depends how long he is on the bench for, or posts up bad scores. With the 5 game weight could be another 4-5weeks until he bottoms out completely.
