Yeah fair enough.  And thats what worries me too.  Can tackle well but heaps of coming out early which leads to the miss.

Last year from his 6 starts at lock he averaged 43 from 43mins. That does include 2 tries, but it's good going.

If he gets 62mins each week I'm fairly confident he'll average at least 45.

I'm a grand novice - who thankfully owns both of these guys - but I'd have to agree with this stuff. Even to me, trading in one for the other would be madness as the other is just as likely to do what the other did next week, surely?
Yep. Friend does have a higher ceiling but also lower floor. All things being equal they round out very similar by year’s end you’d think.

After seeing a couple of teams with both on here, one of them may have been yours, I thought it looked great and did the points and cash sums. I figured my Cook/Mahoney would score the same points as Friend/FAC but it was the set and forget Cook captaincy and the potential for Mahoney to make some coin that made me stick with them.

Still all good with that decision, could be Cooks lowest score for the season hopefully Very Happy

The positive for Cook was 4 kicks in play this game vs 17 all last season.
Gave him 51 km (3 points)
    Try assist (5 points)
So 8 points he wouldn't have scored last season. Means his ceiling and floor should both be higher this season.

Tolman, Napa and Hetherington will be the names you get from here.

LAM is a bold play and maybe Paulo at a stretch

I never once even considered his name throughout the entire pre-season, but today I inserted Hethrington into my squad (NPR) due to his price, BE, and a FRF starting in the second row. I still hate having him and worry massively about his temperament, but jeez there's definitely reason for taking a punt at his price.

Yep. Looked to run a few times too but Roosters closed in well. Weather not great for him either.

I dumped Tatola for Hetherington a couple of minutes before Souths locked out. 3 weeks minimum of starting hopefully and would have been in the 17 regardless of Kikau out I think.

Will be curious to see if Mahoney outscores Radley by much (or any) given it was an either or choice for many and Crichton’s lack of minutes bodes well for a nice price drop

If he moves to middle during the game he would be a decent pick up I think. 80 minutes on the edge ? Idno
