I'll hold SJ - he was pretty un-involved and scored 36. I think that's a bad as he'll get. You do need Morgan though.

I can see the reasoning behind dropping a player like Edwards if you don't have other urgent trades. Edwards would have been brought into the team as a underpriced player and potential keeper, but scoring 20 sees him bleeding cash instead of making cash, and it will probably take him a couple rounds to turn this around. It's early in the game and in these crucial first rounds you want to be making as much cash as possible to set up your final 17. By dropping Edwards for one of the premium cash making cows you quickly plug the money leaking hole in your team.
This reasoning would only apply for the early "formation" rounds of the season. Dropping a player like Edwards for a low score in say round 6 is silly buggers.
Edwards average is just under the elite WFB and potential top 17 player. If Ponga scores drops playing half, Wdwrads average is only below Tedesco and TTurbo

If he bleeds cash it doesn’t matter because he’s in there as an underpriced keeper so cash lost don’t mean fuck all.

Gotta have Morgan IMO so you do what you need to do to get him, but SJ is a keeper so not sure losing him is the way to go. Other options? doesn't have to be a Half for a half.

Not many other options really. Team is...

    Cook
    Taupau Fifita
    Radley Murray RFM
    Kieghran Johnson
    Capewell holland
    CNK Bmoz kahu

    Mahoney Garner host nikora
    Sivo Garrick ravalawa dbrown

    $116K ITB

    Could consider shifting RFM.

Edit - so sell my left nut to get Morgan! LOL

Score and rank still hasn't changed since the beginning of the final game.

    Same for everyone else?

You know although I want to make some trades, this quote just keeps popping up in my head when I think about backing the team I've chosen and making no trades.

    yep, I don't have a clue if I won any H2H. I don't know my ranking yet. I guess it's somewhere around 5000?

Lock-out should be over soon, right?

I'd have Radley, Holland, RFM, BMoz, & Kahu all on the chopping, well before SJ mate.

Haven't worked out the pricing, but I'd look at Radley to Morgan and RFM to Gillett. Then hope that next week you can afford to get Bateman somehow.

Play Garner and trade Radley for Morgan. Ideally Radley should get a second chance but even if he makes 40 going forward I think there is more upside to Morgan.

I'm thinking Garrick and Napa to Bird and Host at this stage. That gives me the cash to look at Arrow and Holland again next week and decide on if I want to trade one to Bateman.

I won all my head to heads, I can see that and I can see my score is 882 but on my team page it still has my score as 794 and my ranking as about 9,000.

I'm gonna guess I'll be somewhere between 1,000-5,000 now.

There's a lot of talk about Trade Rage vs Holding steady

For some players that you want in your final 17, this week is the cheapest they will be all season, and your best chance to bring them in.
For cheapies that will make big money (up to $200k or more) that you missed in round 1m, this is your best chance to bring them in

I would consider losing other good players of yours for long term gain.

For that aren't final 17 or won't make a tonne of cash, but are otherwise going to be quite useful, I would only trade them in if you have a dud that you want to get rid of.

Also, make your own decisions. Don't bring someone in just because everyone here is (especially if the person you are ditching is Arrow/Holland and you only got them because everyone else was)

Well I arrived at Arrow of my own conclusions. Cheaper than the likes of Trbojevic and more consistent than the price options similar or lower than him. Besides I like him as a player and I'll take a Lock over a 2nd-rower most of the time.

I know it’s only rd1, but if the next few ex’s follow suits with guns under performing, cows over performing. There is going to be some pretty strong teams pretty early. Assuming guns start firing in a few weeks.

Tapine to bateman for me. Holland gets another chance, against my better judgement
