Not really sure who I should be trying to nab with my second
Only gun keepers that impressed that plays round 12 are Lolo, JBateman, AReynolds. I would try get one of them in, probably the cheapest one. Bateman will soon be $750K.

Holland gets another chance against an undermanned eels squad next week. On that note I think Sivo gets the chance to redeem himself against the dogs as well at least Sivo and Holland are on opposite edges. No real dramas for myself, sitting on 914 from the round. Didn’t like the look of Garrick, Sivo at least came looking for runs, etc. might swap garrick for a cash making cow and have that my only trade

No. Not an option at all.
An interview I saw is that Mary said to him, no reason you don't play all 25 games this year. With no LAM and JDB, I slated him at 40 minutes and with a ppm of 1 or better I expect around 40 point + average.

There's a lot of talk about Trade Rage vs Holding steady
For some players that you want in your final 17, this week is the cheapest they will be all season, and your best chance to bring them in.
For cheapies that will make big money (up to $200k or more) that you missed in round 1m, this is your best chance to bring them in
I would consider losing other good players of yours for long term gain.
For that aren't final 17 or won't make a tonne of cash, but are otherwise going to be quite useful, I would only trade them in if you have a dud that you want to get rid of.
Also, make your own decisions. Don't bring someone in just because everyone here is (especially if the person you are ditching is Arrow/Holland and you only got them because everyone else was)
This.
When considering trades this week, decide on your goal first, then work around that. If it's all growth, get the best cows.
My goal is cash generation. This means I'm likely going to skip on Bateman and Gillett, and probably keep Radley. I'll probably trade Glasby because he was only place holding anyway and now Lawrie has shown he wants to be in my team. Bird will come in for Sivo. Both should make good cash.

He's a PPM king.
Scores quickly but low minutes in the past.
I figured with talk K Sims would go straight into starting, that Lawrie would get 2 weeks and then be useless. but with Frizell maybe out for a while he might be worth a look.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
Scored 910, but the only real issues with my team's scoring were DCE & Edwards, plus Garrick in NPRs. With no cash in the bank, I'm not sure whether I should bother trading. Obviously Arrow could have scored better as well.. and TPJ's 40 was somewhat expected.
Playing Brown over Keighran was a coin flip that meant I worse off but that can't be helped.
Two players that I don't have, that seem like musts are Morgan and Bateman. If TPJ is named on the bench again I may have to pull the pin and shift him to Bateman. Although with Lodge suspended I would expect he starts.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
Bateman, Lawrie and Bird main players I am considering in for next round.
Not sure I'll be able to bring Bateman in without losing someone I want to keep though.
But to me, it looks like Bateman will be a final 17 keeper centre. Better than Capewell/Holland so it might be worth bringing him in for one of them, even if I expect them to score well too.
Last year the biggest of my many failings, was not bringing in a keeper at CTR when I had the chance.
The consensus on Bateman pre-season was - could be good, but expensive, so wait and see.
We waited, we saw, what we saw was good. if you won't trade him in now, what score would have made you trade him in?

The biggest worry with Bateman was minutes - there was an article and possibly even quotes from Stuart that said he wouldn't play 80 mins at the start of the season, plus he that that injury that kept him out of last trial.

Here's how it's going to go with Bateman.
I trade Holland out for him, Holland has a blinder on the edge while Bateman's minutes go down.
I keep Holland, Bateman scores 60+ and the Dogs continue to be dogshit.

Trade in Bird for two MTs, a penalty, then injured in the 3rd tackle for a score of -6 and a 2 week injury

First paragraph says not an option.
Second paragraph hints towards him being useful.
Is it that's he's a must have as opposed to an option

Holland was only $440k, he had 5 offloads. He didn't have much opportunity in a 40-6 scoreline, I think they improve against the Eels, up against Moses and (Takarangi/Salmon/George Jennings) could go alright. Expect Bulldogs to bring the aggression against a weakened Eels forwards pack.

lol yeah I'm confused by that. Say he's a no go, proceed to mount a convincing case he's worth a shot.

Although it was across the other island, the Warriors still had a lot to play for and in front of a home crowd the emotions would have been RIFE! Holland will come good and be a top 5 CTR this year. Had 5 MT's which was the most he had all year last year, also had 5 Offloads, 2 TB's which he averaged 3/game when playing CTR last year and only kicked 1/1 goal. He'll come good. Let's say he missed 2 tackles and makes the other 3, he would've scored 34 and we would be happy-ish.

I think your explanation is correct. He believes Lawrie is not an "option", but a "must have"
