Sorry if I've missed the discussion but what was up with Taupaus minutes? I was expecting him to go big but looked like AFB was the #1 prop option... burned me big time as a captain!
As a side note, Holland + Sele > Burns + Lawrie, good?

Playing Devils advocate, does Bateman play 80 if Simonsson doesn't get injured?
Priced now for a 41 average. If you are dumping him for Capewell/Holland I'd be very wary as both have keeper potential in the CTR.
If Bateman plays 80 consistently, I'd potentially agree not sure if that is the case though, if he plays 65 for say a 45 average are you happy with the trade?
Holland and Capewell will both make around $200,000 based on the reasoning we got them early season

Matterson, Jurbo, Murray, Capewell, Nikora, Bateman, Garner, Mahoney, D Brown or Bird?
I’m thinking Bird?
I agree Bird. I was an advocate for Keighran last week but predicting a big one this week for little Brown

If he plays anywhere between 60-80 mins he will be the #1 CTR.Welshy wrote:Playing Devils advocate, does Bateman play 80 if Simonsson doesn't get injured?

Pretty sure his PPM was up around 1 before he got moved to CTR vs Titans.
He is not getting cheaper so 100% must have this week

In tossing up whether to trade in Mikaele for Sele it’s more for cash growth but if Sele is likely to play then I feel I should save the trade..

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
gotta decide between Fifita and Batemen this week (the other will come in next week)
tempted to go with Fifita so I get one more look at Batemen but it seems conservative, Batemen looks like a gun in the making

If he is a keeper moving forward, (I did say he would be pre season) He isn't going to jump up massively in price because of where he is currently valued
You can bring him in when you see him play more than 1 NRL game. 5 TBs for an undersized lock I wouldn't be counting on moving forward
My argument is for dumping Holland and Capewell who both have keeper potential in the CTR ( and Nikora) Who will both make more cash than Bateman.
I don't think he is a must bring in for week 2

Fifita playing 70+ minutes is an absolute MUST have. Move it all for him
But does he maintain that moving forward? Same with Bateman. So tough this early trying to define roles.
If Bateman didn't hit a 60 R1 would everyone be trying to get him in after what would of been a decent say 45? (6 points above starting price)
Fifita for me has to come in first

My favourite Bateman thing is when he went to throw the ball at Wallace, then Laughed at him for flinching. Funny shit, welcome aboard.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
I'm thinking Tedesco/Radley -> WFB<695k(Thinking Hughes or RTS)/Bateman this week.
Pro's
- Bring in Bateman, could be my best chance if he becomes a 55+ gun.
- RTS looked good.
- Hughes is also an option who could make more money than RTS.
Con's
- Could be sideways if Radley performs to his potential (he had -10 from missed, if he makes those hes at 43)
- RTS shat the bed on me last year.
- Bateman hype may just be hype and he might even out to be a 45 point player.
- Will likely have to pick up Teddy later in the season.
- RTS looked good AGAINST THE BULLDOGS. Who knows against a better team?
I'm leaning towards letting it ride with Radley and Teddy but my fomo is raging about Bateman.
Twal/Teddy -> Hughes/Bateman is also an option.
Please help a noob out.

Good thing for this trade is that tigers are the last game of the round, so you'll get to see if sele does play or not.Mighty Fishes wrote:In tossing up whether to trade in Mikaele for Sele it’s more for cash growth but if Sele is likely to play then I feel I should save the trade..

Who likes these trades?
Radley > BSmith (keeps HOK cover intact) banks some cash. Just not sure if Smith keeps it up.
Sivo > Lawrie (already have plenty of players to cover the CTR/WFB positions.
Thoughts guys?

Don't trade Teddy out for Bateman under any circumstances, take this advice from someone who is definitely near the top 25,000 of players right now.

Top shithousery from Bateman, hated him at Wigan. Kid is tough as nails and has that in him!
Fuck what I said above, get him in for that
