If anyone is on the Lane train it’s me, but those trades look great.Reklaw wrote:Is it crazy to trade Lane already. Don't love him but can see the value there. Thinking about Lane + Kahu > Bateman + Lawrie.
Leaves me with 3k. Next week can drop Holland (if he bombs again) to Bird (if he plays well again) and upping Sivo to whatever other cashie is looking good.
Would burn both trades this week and leave my team looking like:
Cook
Fifi Tolman
Murray Arrow Gillet
Morgan Keighran
Nikora Holland
RTS Burns CNK
Mahoney Garner Bateman Lawrie
Burr Rava Brown Sivo
Or I can play it safe and just swap Kahu to Bird or Lawrie.

I have the same choice to make with Keighran and Brown, slightly on Brown at the mo

On Friday afternoon I brought in Friend and Napa over Mahoney and (can't remember who, possibly Alex Twal)
I also swapped Sivo to Sele on news Sele got promoted to starting lineup.

Radley
Holland
Morris
Morris for me. Against Manly I think Radley can bounce back & Holland just seems worth keeping over Morris. I wasn't impressed with Holland or Morris but imo Morris played worse.

in VSDT I brought in Widdop last minute. Can't remember who for (possibly Drinkwater might have still been in my team at the time as I wasn't changing my team twice an hour like in Fantasy)

Sucked in to them. Never minded loopers before but all the talk in the main thread this year is turning me right off them, especially when half the advice they gave out during the round last week was crap.
Bloody loopers!
They need to post in their own thread

Bateman's mtvb BE is 26. With Milch he's 30. Still, yes if you really think Tamou is a 50+ must this year then the economical move is to bring him in first.
I dropped my Magic number to 14,500 after the massive scores in round 1. (round 1 MN was 14,300 or something like that)
MTB probably still using 14,910 at a guess.

Hmmm can move Burns down to WFB and Capewell/Nikora into CTR. So it's viable. And bank a lil cash

Pinky swear.
I reckon Macca and Holland average about the same as Bateman and Mahoney over the season. Just my opinion.

tbh LB I would have no problem if you sold any of those 3 (Radley, Holland or Morris) as I think you could argue a sell case for each of them.

Simonsson went down with cramp late on. Could’ve been that

Great point. I was the one who got the wrong Nikorima a couple of years back.

Also last year he averaged 0.97 ppm with only around 40 minutes if he gets those minutes up to around 50 or 60 with merrin and CHN gone he could be a genuine keeper
Yeah I mentioned him yesterday. Biggest concern is he only averaged 40min last year and last week was forced big minutes due to Sele and Yeo being injured. He could easily go back to 40 min. I'm interested though... But then once they have a full squad, is he still a gun?

To be fair, a lot of tackling was required.

Just Kamikamica to Lawrie for me. Kami looks to be a slow burner so I'll just jump onto Lawrie to make those fat stacks.
