Round 2 starting tonight, I'm not expecting a high scoring repeat of last round, it's going to be disappointing scoring a +/-800 score after last week's high

I think these trades are good ones. Well Radley to Lawrie is easily the best trade, and if I could go Holland to Bateman and lock in a keeper in one trade I probably wouldn't look back.
I don't feel like you will be disappointed with these moves after the weekend and you will be at least 20 points up.

Chewie wrote:As a general rule of thumb this season: when a player's first or last name starts with a B or an M they are very likely going to do well (with some exceptions)
Macca, Mahoney, Blake Lawrie, Bromwich, Mikaele, Mitchell Aubusson, Briton Nikora, Burr, Marata Nuikore, Matt Gillett, John Bateman, Michael Morgan, Dylan Brown, Bird, Mikaele Ravalawa, Moylan, Burns
so if you need to decide between 2 players, for example: Jacob Host or Blake Lawrie
It's more likely that the Blake Lawrie is going to do better, because of his first name starting with a B.
I think I'll keep Brett Morris

No idea. I think it’s surprising how quick people are moving for a 600k+ set and forget centre. I get it on one hand because I hate the position too, but also continues the frustration of first trade/s burned being centre related.Chewie wrote:
If Holland would have scored ok round 1 and Capewell would have scored sub-par.
Would Capewell have been traded out for Bateman?
I think Capewell/Nikora is fine to run with for now.

Looks very good mate. No trades needed there!Ponga Yeo the Mann wrote:
I liked the lane pick but him vs Bateman seems to make sense no?
McCullough
Tolman Fifi
Arrow Murray lane
Morgan Keighran
Capewell Holland
Kahu Hughes Burns
Friend Mahoney Sironen Garner
Nikora Host Brown Ravalawa
Had a good first week and the only people I’m really unhappy with are Holland and kahu but both aren’t desperate sells
Cheers for the reply
Nikora not only got fantasy points. He looked really good. He needs a spot in your 17. Would look past his price and drop any of Holland Capewell or Garner for him.
Brown too passed the eye test. Would strongly consider him over Keighran.

Agreed but with Bateman and potentially sticking at lock he could get out of range pretty quick.

I did some crazy trading to get in Bateman... moved heaven and earth but just decided to say fk it and just gone with a simple Garrick to Lawrie trade... not gonna use my second trade and gonna back Holland and the rest of my team to perform well again this week.

Although I would love to get Batman in. I think it is worth seeing his next game or two and see where he averages out over 3 games. Could score 35 this week against storm and although that’s a good score for a CTR, you have just moved heaven and earth to have him in your team. I don’t think he’ll be scoring 60+ every week. I am not making any trades this week. Hoping a cow pops up next week and giving holland/arrow one more chance to come good. Will look to offload holland before arrow depending on scores this week and Garrick or Sivo depending the same.Welshy wrote:

I wouldn’t move the earth to get him in as much as I want him there early, but only if playing lock full timeStormTrooper96 wrote:

My trades:
Horse > Lawrie
Widdop > B Smith
Already have Bateman and really liking my squad now. Going with the bold Taupau Captain pick this week, playing in the dry with expected 60-65 minutes vs Cook in the wet.
Cook
Taupau (C) Fifita
Arrow Nikora Murray
Morgan Kieran
Bateman Xerri (loop)
Katoa Hughes Burns
Mahoney Brown Garner Lawrie
B Smith Sivo Ravalawa Holland - Get to loop Smith vs Ravalawa and if both fail, get Holland's score instead

Any predictions out there for D.Fifita minutes?
if crichton gets two more games off the bench, there may not be much of a price difference between him and fifita in a fortnight

I think I will stick with Radley+Twal to Lawrie+Bird for cash making potential. Assuming Holland makes near BE I could 1 trade him to anyone 840k or less next week

Cheers Iron Mike for the advice. Radley to Lawrie seems a fair trade

Where do I play Holland this week? My ctrs are Nikora, Capewell.
Bench: Mahoney, Bateman, Lawrie, Garner.
Smartest choice to leave him in npr? Seems like a huge waste of cash having him sit there

Reasonably irrelevant for fantasy, but James Roberts cleared to play tomorrow.

Yeah just play the guy and hope for the best. I'm in a similar situation. Have Jack Bird sitting in the NPR's, I don't want him there but I wouldn't play him over my bench of Lawrie, Taupau, Host and Nikora so my only option to have him in would be to trade out Holland since having a 400k player in the NPR's is a complete waste.

Bateman could hold a spot in 2RF till one of Capewell or Nikora needs to go. For me he is replacing Radley in my starting 17 so its an upgrade.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 19
is Ryan James a must sell? I didn't watch the titans game, guessing they all had poor games. Don't know who to bring in instead.
Already have C Murray, Fifita, Gillett, TPJ, Taumalolo.
Help would be great!
