Mate, didn't you learn from last week, maybe a backup hooker is a priority?
This time though I'll be able to see if Friends playing before making the trade haha. If he plays then nonworries
And I'm not overly convinced with Mahoney and he's top of my price range

Fair call. If I didn't start with Mahoney I guess I would be a bit hesitant too. Two 50 scores but with big attacking stats in both.

Mahoney in for a 50 tackle game this week, plus any attacking stats the Eels may get.

Is he against that silly fucker Euan Aitken? We saw how that worked out for Burns
Bird and Oates in for a Graham and Burns repeat!
Bird for a try and Oates for a hatty.

Decided to keep Capewell and forego Bird this week in favour of Burns. Solely so I don't have to play Rava/Sivo. Will reassess next week, already spent more trades than I like on my back 5 (2) haha

Last week against my own advice I let Bird, Burns and Lawrie go so I could get Gillett (enabled by Host) amazing moves
Absolutely ridiculous. Need to correct my own stupidity this week and Burns is absolutely top priority. Bird a nice to have but would love both

I wonder how everyone will react when Burns comes back down to earth with a 25-30 score.

Whats with the no love by everyone for Capewell? Scores of 42 and 30 with an average of 36 and a BE of 28. Last week's score will be the outlier as he was swapped for injury. Will score 45+ this week. He is still making money. I think he will peak around 600-640K making another 150-190K underpriced. Just IMO but be my guest. Sell him off if you want.
True - I like Capewell too. But he won't be making any money if he makes way for Graham when he comes back....

He's replacing Bmoz's score for me, so I'll be over the moon.StormTrooper96 wrote:I wonder how everyone will react when Burns comes back down to earth with a 25-30 score.

Same could be said with Bird......but I'm still trading him in. Started with Burns so expecting a 30 this week when everyone is expecting 65 again.

Assuming 50% of coaches pick the wrong half this week, I'll probably gain about 500 spots on the ladder

That would be his floor from what we’ve seen, so for WFB I’m happy.
5 is looking his minimum TBs, so there’s 15 already.
Ask Edwards and Watson owners what they think lol
Ponga’s floor with goals is a bit higher but he’s just the 320k more

Couldn’t mash the like button on this any harder.my tv broke wrote:I kinda hate the POD discussion. Its not really a "strategy". The best strategy is picking the players who will score the most points.
Its fun to discuss ownerships and changes, who's popular/who isn't, but I'm with MS, I don't even think about ownership % when it comes to choosing a player.

Put me in the paddock with the rest this week and keep Welshy/Filth far enough away. Both Bird + Burns in. Baaaaaaa.
Staying strong on my no brown though

Once i can convince Failhub its a valid trade that is.
Moved about 4 players around because of DPP and had it so the two guys I'm trading out are on my bench and it still threw an error....

I brought in both bird and burns this week for Holland and Capewell. I figure even if they drop their output, they will make plenty of dollarydoos. No other player will be making as good a coin with that kind of scoring potential.

Just move all players you want to trade to the bench and then go into trade section and make the trades. then go back to the main screen and move your players traded in into the 17

Bump - any thoughts here lads?
Rippin and Tearin wrote:I haven't posted my team - so here goes, any thoughts appreciated.
Macca
Fifita, Tolman
Arrow, Murray, Gillett
Morgan, Croft
Bateman, Nikora
Edwards, Burns, CNK
Mahoney, Garner,CapewellBird,RavaLawrie
Keighran, Brown, Host, Mikaele
Two trades this week pencilled in are Capewell & Rava to Bird and Lawire with the view to making cash as fast as possible and no need to keep Capewell anymore with Bateman and Nikora the two best C options going round at the mo.
Cheers in advance.
