Yeah that's what i did. Just moaning i couldn't do a legit trade without going back and repeating my changes first. @Failhub I'm currently looking for a Software testing job in Sydney... just saying.Iron Mike wrote:
Just move all players you want to trade to the bench and then go into trade section and make the trades. then go back to the main screen and move your players traded in into the 17

Solid trades if its cash that you're after. I've decided to give Capewell and Rava another go this week and go from there.Rippin and Tearin wrote:Bump - any thoughts here lads?

Hate the idea of a centre as a bench player. Makes me die a little inside. Given you’re a Bateman owner, I think you just have to forget Bird exists myself. Lawrie is a good move.
Croft a cheeky little differential. Why not. Half is looking a nightmare position so far. Assume you need downgrade cash in order to do the Rava to Lawrie? If so prefer something like Host to Sele or for Matt... Xerri. You don’t need all of Host, Mikaele and Lawrie

True - I like Capewell too. But he won't be making any money if he makes way for Graham when he comes back....
Graham still a while away, still showing Rd 9-12. That is still 6 weeks away at least.

Same could be said with Bird......but I'm still trading him in. Started with Burns so expecting a 30 this week when everyone is expecting 65 again.
Bringing Bird in this week. I started with Burns also. Been expecting 30-35 the whole time, these 48 and 65 scores have been a blessing.
I am bringing Bird in for his cash generation and chance to post another big score against the Dragons edge. Also tempted to run Sele over Bird but too many question marks over his minutes

Haha, I know right! Thanks for the input.
Basically the way I play it, or at least the formula that worked for me last year, was to max cash generation from the start. I see both Bird and Lawrie as the only two guys I have that Im almost positive will generate $150k from here. For that reason I have I feel like I have to get at least one of them. Then, as u pressured, I dont have the cash to do a single upgrade, so given Im having to down grade, Im in a position where I can then get both so figure I may as well.
I hate playing Bird in my 17 but against the dragons I reckon he goes better than my other options for 17th man. Hopefully I'll rectify that situation soon...
I could upgrade either Rava, Host, or Mikaele, but chose, at this stage at least, to keep the two who I believe have better JS and realistic money making potential.

Cheers, Yeah thats the basis for it all.
I hope Steve doesn't mind me sharing this, I presume its public knowledge anyway, but he told me that last year after, I cant recall how many rounds, he was sitting well off the pace, but had the highest, or close to the highest team value when compared to the top 100 or so teams. He went on to finish 10th and I think most teams which generate good cash early will eventually come good in the rankings.
That's the way I played it last year too and giving it a real crack again this year. Will see if it works out. Still gotta mack the right calls though...

Basic trades seem to be ok now for me on the app. And can successfully reverse trades.

I am at a bit of a checkmate with my halves roulette this week.
Keighran has the added bonus of goal kicking; however, I have tipped Manly to get a W this week.
Brown is slowly coming into his own and has a low score of 30, but he is against the Roosters.

I think either Eels need to claim a win against the Roosters or Sivo needs to score a try or two, otherwise i see Gennings reclaiming his spot in the side.

I'm putting the C on fat bird. He's marking Aitken and Rava, can see heaps of TB's and TA/tries on that side.

Captain Cook this week my friends. Going to regain his scooting prowess against a tired, immobile Titans pack.

Talking about completely random captains on CTRs, Nikora actually wouldn't be the worst shout
Not that I'm going to even entertain the possibility myself with Cook v Titans
