You're putting yourself a severe disadvantage by playing one less player

Just realised that bringing in Bateman depends on a downgrade (because I stupidly did Host to Lawrie last week) meaning I can't bring in Bateman by doing Keighran to Cartwright and still require downgrading Mahoney/Whitehead anyway

Essentially a case of Bateman + Rein + 0 VS Lane + Cartwright + Mahoney/Rein and likely be priced out of Bateman until his price levels out again (4-5 rounds I'm assuming with a low BE of 15)

I kind of feeling taking a 0 in the short run will benefit my team in the long-run as Bateman is likely to be a keeper and I can use next week's trades to rectify issue and bring in another possible keeper (Ponga). Also have no idea if Cartwright is a one off (looking at 2018 he averaged 4.1 MT when playing over 40 mins)

Camo123 wrote:Would you rather run with 16 players (Rein + no 2nd HLF playing) or do Keighran to Cartwright and have 17 players and keep Mahoney

This bullshit has come 1 week too early - I planned to do Keighran + Whitehead to Haas + Ponga next week to eliminate the HLF roulette

You took the post right out of my fingers!! I was contently bringing in Bateman/Rein this week with the hope of somehow getting Ponga next week. But missing Rein in order to bring in Cartwright, Salmon or Harris makes my stomach ill. I’m really hesitant to bring in an option I don’t want if Ponga is possible next week.

The main thing is, after round one and an awesome score I was kind of interested in overall, but after two horror weeks that’s of no concern at all to me anymore. Only really care about one H2H comp and if I’m likely to lose this week's match up, do I just take the hit and go in one player short? Very serious consideration.

Any inside word on extent of Brown injury?

The other point is I wouldn’t know who of Keighran or Brown to dump? Who’s more likely to play again soon?

If the option is playing Mahoney or running with 16, I'd play Mahoney every time

that's because of an out in the starting team though, will be interesting to see what happens if the players named are fully fit this time around

Is there an estimated return date for Friend? Will probably ditch him anyway, but has there been anything official from the club. All I've seen is nrl physio speculation

How many serious players are playing with one established half I wonder? Really stuffed these people who went cheap in the halves now.

Carty has extensive stats as starting 2RF. He can miss 14 tackles a week for all I care if he continues to post a 40+ average doing so.

    my team is f*cked
do I trade aroow to get bateman in which leaves me with one trade.... and I hav brown Keighran and burns all on my team.. I hav to trade in a half as I hav no one for that posistion... im leaning toward trading Keighran cause it is definet that brown will return at some stage in the future... but who do I trade him 4 I only hav 445k in bank so I think carty is the best option or...?

Never been so excited about Ravalawa starting
Means I can play worst case Sivo Ravalawa CNK this week.......

At least I am not forced to trade in a wfb for at least this week so have the 'illusion' of options haha

Friend,Keighran,Brown,Burns definitely gone, just hope Garner can pull through and no last minute swaps with Ravalawa

Actually not worried, will work this shit out and will shake the table a bit. Keeps the game interesting

Nice! Mine are Morgan and Munster and I'm glad I've got them. If I could fit in Moses I'd have done it though.

Very interesting point. Maybe one reason to hold off on Mahoney to Rein for a week and bring in some shitty half to cover that hole.
