Would bringing in Adam reynolds or Ponga be a smarter pick for the halves?

It's a minutes and injury thing for me. If he's carrying and injury, I'll trade. If he doesn't get 50 min I'll trade. Other than that, He's shown he can be fantasy gold. It's averages anyway. An 80 and a 30 is still a 55 average, as long as the highs come with the lows
Ref CHT, I think he's a trap. Could be wrong, but you can't rely on flair in fantasy, and that's all CHT brings. In saying that, I like him in real life

Yup but SJ was an off-the-cuff player too. He had base-stats though
Because he demanded them and was good at it, obviously not in Warriors game plan to go though AK, was just a stand in trying to go safer over the more explosive CHT to start the season
Hasn't worked, so giving AK the early punt and going with the more splash player. I think CHT could surprise with his kicking involvement

Lino will be out once Watson is fit.
Carty- history of decent scores at 2RF, been trash last season
CHT- unknown, playing with a shitty coach and pack

If he is carrying an injury and getting needled to play, he is a shadow of the fit and healthy player we picked him up for, so would drop him fast then.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 26
Trying to figure the Titans rotations re Arrow/Rein/Carty. Think Brimson will come on to go half with Roberts switching to hooker, but does that mean Rein spends time at lock like Peats did (good for Rein, bad for Arrow) or goes straight off (bad for Rein, good for Arrow). Does James move out wide at any point (bad for Cartwright) or stay as a big minute middle (bad for Arrow).
Also, who kicks for the Warriors? Does CHT kick, or will it be Tohu until Luke back?

Actually its not that simple.Finch wrote:Question for those that are on the fence about CHT, and a question we should all be asking ourselves.
If Keighran wasn't starting in Week 1, and instead CHT was, would you of purchased CHT?
If yes, buy this week.
Seems simple to me?
In week 1 it didnt cost you a trade, what if you trade him in now and he gets dropped for Keighran in a couple of weeks. Waste of a trade.
Secondly in week 1 we didn’t know how the warriors would go. Now we know they are dog shit I cant see a rookie half scoring well

Happy to be proven wrong, but the problem at the Warriors is their forwards don't allow the halves to thrive. CHT won't get kick metres because he's not a know kicker like AK is. If anything, he might score worse! Only saving grace is he's playing the Titans this week.

Agreed. Until the Warriors can sort out their forwards (looking at you Blair and lil Papi), the halves won't do jack.

I loved Lino last season as a Warriors fan but he's fantasy junk. Look at his scoring breakdowns

interesting bout the kicking thing.... I reckon.. imao.. that the reason he is coming in is because he can kick.. the main problem with a kieghran last game was his kicking game.. soo there must be a reson to bring in cht because he can kick... just a guess in the dark tho

Lino isn't cheap and has no job security, gets replaced by Watson in a week or 2

I have Brown Burns and Keighran out plus Garner and Rava(question marks based on rumours?)
Still thinking of trading Croft and Capewell for Carty and Bateman. Am I mad?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 26
So glad Brown and Keighran are outside my 17, i dont have to rush a trade on them just yet. Ill most likely give Xerri a week before i bring him in. Im looking at Mahoney to Rein (keeping Macca) but not sure on the next trade. Im short on Burns/Edwards to Teddy
my team after 1st trade would be
Macca Rein
Fifita Tolman Lawrie Host
Murray Bateman Arrow Garner Burr
DCE Morgan Brown Keighran
Nikora Bird
Edwards Burns Sivo Ravalawa
$215k left
Any help would be good

Yes to both, I am trying to pick one of the 2 as well. If you plan to just get one, Ponga is likely the better value buy. If you plan to get both, get Reynolds first.

He isn't a known kicker. AK was. If anything, Green gets more KMs. The reason he is coming in is because the Warriors always blame the halves for shitty go forward and losing the ruck. Pmo… Wish we had a solid FRF to pair with LAM
