Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
Just quietly I'm hoping Teddy's next two weeks are sub 30 for this very reason. Firstly, I burn through trades like free agents in a draft comp so it would be nice to see others do the same, flip flopping on and off him (might give me some hope of a respectable finish). Secondly because I probably won't have cash for him next week so if he could go back to losing money or at least staying even, that would be ideal.Milchy wrote:
Because we are panic merchants. 1 below average score is cause for concern. 2 below average scores in a row is pretty terrible.
3 below average scores (or 2 below average scores and 1 at average in the case of Cook) signals an irrevocable slide into fantasy obscurity.
Everyone else will be trading Cook in soon (well after we have Teddy, Bateman, Ponga, Crichton), so I wouldn't ditch him just yet

I’d dropped Keighran this week, but in light of this info it has to be Brown, ay?
His injury according to NRL Physio is like a back strain that needs to be rested. No real length of time and is something week to week. Both I think are droppabke, Keighran more because he actually lost his spot in the team.

Hey lads... Sorry for the out of topic post but here it is....
Hey lads, is it at all possible when u d/load a movie and have the subtitle file with it, to just play those simultaneously without having to encode or other long winded procedure ? I thought u can change the file.names and they will run as one or something ?
Posted this in the not thread worthy, but most don't venture out of here...

You using VLC? It's been ages since I've used it but IIRC you could just select the subtitle file through the menu on there.Revraiser wrote:Hey lads... Sorry for the out of topic post but here it is....

Sorry, what I meant is vlc is a media player. If you aren't using that I'd recommend it. Has all kinds of nice features like allowing you to adjust video/audio delay incase it's out of synch, lots of codecs and I thought you could just browse to and select a subtitle file with it, though maybe I'm mistaken it's been a while.Revraiser wrote:

Only people rushing would surely only be those who would be playing without one half this week, like me, if they waited another week.

Yeah but isn't getting in say Ponga or Reyno or Munster this week better, if ur gunna get one of those down the line anyway ? I know Ponga has a high BE.

It was never “Cook’s team”. Nothing has changed whatsoever, except that Crichton leaving allows Burgess to go to right edge and Murray to lock. Reyno will get more opportunities, but Cook will do what he always does. Play what’s in front of him.
I hope plenty of you do trade him out though....less teams to worry about. Major error.
You must be freaking out with so many people agreeing with you mate - somethings changed
I agree too, not sure where Matt is getting this whole - "it's Reynolds team now" thing from.
Cook will up his fantasy production fullahs, but heck he is averaging 56. I wouldn't be selling, but hey, I need to rise in the rankings so by all means lads....

Most definitely! And if someone can lend me about $3-400k I’d be right on any of those options. I did look at a genuine replacement, but I think the best I could afford is a Tyrone Roberts or the like. Hence why I went with CHT.

Can't fund it elsewhere ? Via another smart downgrade etc
